Sunspire Plateaus - Biome entry for Hytale New Worlds Modding Contest
Step into the beatuiful Sunspire Plateaus. This biome is filled with lush highlands to hidden cave systems.
You can explore by crafting a new portal fragment or instantly using the /inst command.
Features:
- Big open plateaus mixed with caves, rivers, and some tropical islands to explore
- Custom droop willow trees that give the whole place a unique vibe
- Lots of animals like deer, frogs, squirrels, birds, alligators, and more
- 100+ custom prefabs with new encounters, goblin cave homes, and pirate islands
- Hidden treasure scattered around, including buried loot and golden geode rocks
- New Sun Ore you can find deep underground that actually glows
- Craftable paper lanterns with different colors using Sunstone light
- 26 unique items, including potions that let you turn into a deer or doe
- Custom weather and mob spawning to make everything feel more alive
- Dry thatch roofs, gold rubble, and other small details that add character
This was a fun project focusing on depth and detail trying to make it hard to stop exploring a single area. There's a lot to find with some rare structures hidden about, so take your time and see what you run into!
