Spawn Manager – V.0.1.0

Spawn Manager is an addon designed to control, enable, or disable mob spawning in Hytale worlds and servers.

It provides a simple interface to manage creature spawning by individual mob names or entire mob groups.

The management interface can be opened with the command:

Permissions

You must be world or server operator to access the interface and modify settings.

To give yourself operator permissions in-game:

Important – Required Asset Pack

For technical reasons, this addon must be used together with Spawn Manager asset pack.

Currently, Hytale does not allow certain parameters to be modified dynamically inside a plugin alone. Because of this limitation, the assets are temporarily separated.

You must install both addons for Spawn Manager to function correctly.

(This is a temporary limitation until Hytale supports referencing asset packs directly from plugins.)

Applying Changes

After making changes in the menu:

1. Click APPLY

2. Wait a few seconds for the settings to be saved

3. Restart the game or server

A restart is currently required for the changes to take effect.

Existing Creatures

After the restart, the selected mobs will no longer spawn.

However, mobs that were already generated by world generation before the restart may still exist in already loaded chunks.

To refresh them, you can use:

or press Reload Mobs inside the /spawnmanager interface.

⚠️ Note:
This does not affect mobs spawned from fixed spawners. If those persist, they must be removed manually.
