Concept for a game about finding and exploring new planets, plundering them for resources, and using those resources to upgrade your ship.

Description

To start the minigame, join the world and type '/game start'. I recommend you play in creative mode due to lighting issues and other limitations I didn't have time to fix.

You start with a basic set of "Resource Cards", each of which spawn 1 ore when you start an Incursion into a planet. You use resources to buy more resource cards, which gets you more resources, etc. The end goal is to collect enough to construct a Jump Drive to escape the galaxy. (Note: the card system is just a placeholder for progression. If I ever make this into a full project, finding resources will be more about exploration and strategy rather than just "big number go up".)

I used this basic game idea as a learning project for Hytale's systems. There's not much in terms of gameplay, but I was able to learn a lot about how Hytale works on the inside. I also got a good introduction to World Gen V2 concepts, though I'm not an artist and focused more on the technical side of things.
