⚠️ Important: How It Works

This mod works with Processing Benches — stations that have dedicated containers where items are processed (furnaces, forges, kilns, etc.).

🚀 Update v1.3.0: Smart Automation & Control!

  • 🔄 Two-Way Automation: Now supports Input & Fuel automation!
    • Items in the chest can automatically feed the furnace's Input and Fuel slots.
    • (Enabled by default, toggleable via command).
  • 🧠 Smart Logic: The system searches automatically in a flexible radius.
  • ⚙️ Configurable: Customize search radius (default: 2 blocks) and update speed via config.
  • 🎮 In-Game Commands: Use /smartbenches to see the full list of commands:
    • /smartbenches input - Toggle auto-feeding from chests.
    • /smartbenches output - Toggle auto-output to chests.
    • /smartbenches status - View the live status of your configurations.
    • /smartbenches toggle <Bench_ID> - Turn off automation for specific bench types altogether.
    • /smartbenches searchradius <number> - Adjust the chest scanning range (1-10 blocks).
    • /smartbenches tickinterval <number> - Change the processing delay to optimize server performance.

🎮 How to Use

  1. Place any processing bench (furnace, forge, kiln, etc.).
  2. Place a chest nearby (within the configured radius, 2 blocks by default).
  3. Add fuel and materials to the chest.
  4. Watch as materials are pulled automatically and finished products flow back to the chest!

    [Furnace] → Processed items flow to chest! + Gets auto-fueled!

⚙️ Technical Details

  • Scans configurable radius expanding flexibly.
  • Only the first valid chest found receives/sends items per cycle to save performance.
  • Uses reflection for secure and robust container interaction, preventing item duplication.
  • Built on Hytale's ECS system for maximum efficiency.

📥 Installation

  1. Download the Linceros.SmartBenches-1.3.0.jar.
  2. Place the .jar file into your Hytale server's mods folder.
  3. Enjoy!

  • Grab items and process them.
  • Priority system for multiple adjacent chests.
  • Filter which items go to which chest.
  • Visual indicator when auto-transfer is active.
