The mod is still in progress, it should be fine to use as-is, but I would recommend staying with short replays for now (up to ~10 minutes). If you are using it on a Singleplayer world that you really care about, maybe make a backup of the world before starting editing your Replay, it shouldn't be required but better safe than sorry. More features are also planned.

While editing your Replay, if you ever see something that does not look right (players / entities invisible, chunk not loading, ...) simply go back in time a little, it will force it to reload the Replay and everything should go back to normal.

How to use?

Once the mod is installed and enabled, simply use the command /replay to get started. From there you will be able to start and stop recording, and edit your previous replays.
Note that on Singleplayer, when clicking to open a Replay you'll get a message saying that you will get disconnected. That is expected, then simply click 'Reconnect' to access your Replay.

Export / Render video

Because Hytale mods are server-side, there is no way for this mod to implement any kind of video rendering. And it's not even a feature in the game for Machinimas.

However, I added a button that allows you to hide the Editor UI until you click again, so you are able to record the result as a video using an external recording software.
