What's new

QuestLines Claims – Version 1.6.0
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🆕 Features
• New Fluid Spread flag for claims, cities, nations and regions - turn it off and flowing water or lava stops at your border, so a reservoir breached uphill can no longer run onto your land. Standing water is untouched: lakes, oceans and pools you have already filled stay exactly as they are. On by default everywhere, including existing claims.
• Mines can now be split into depth layers - each band gets its own block palette, so ore gets richer the deeper players dig.
• Special treasure layers roll on every reset with their own chance and thickness, spliced in between the normal layers.
• Regions can now change how fast players walk inside them - set a speed multiplier in the region editor, e.g. 0.5 for a swamp or 1.5 for a highway.
• Server-wide limits on that multiplier are set in /claim config, and normal speed comes back the moment a player leaves.
• Claim Staff points are now markers you can grab - left-click a corner, vertex or circle point to pick it up and move it, right-click to delete it. Only you can see them.
• Set a selection's floor and ceiling before saving - drag the two height markers in its middle, or use /region height, and the preview shows the full volume.
• Reshape an existing region with /region reshape or the new Reshape With Staff button in the region editor.
• New polygon points slot into the nearest edge, so you can add a corner partway round the outline.
• The admin region manager has a World filter - click it to cycle through the worlds that have regions.
• The Rent/Buy browser can now find a plot among hundreds - Available / Mine / All tabs, a search box (name, id, owner or group), filters for type, world, plot group and plots you can afford, and click-to-sort columns for name, size, distance and price. It opens nearest-first.
• Every plot in the Rent/Buy browser has a Show button that outlines it for 30 seconds and tells you where it is, and the list shows each plot's size and how far away it is.
• The admin region manager now has a search box (name, id, owner, tenant, group, parent or world), Status and Group filters alongside Type and World, and sortable columns for name, type, priority, owner, price, size and creation date.
• The admin region manager shows each region's price, size and creation date, and every row has TP (to its spawn point, or dropping in above its centre) and Show (a 30 second outline).
• The Status filter can pick out vacant, occupied, player-listed, locked and soon-to-expire (3 days) regions.
• Buy regions can now be sold between players - stand in a buy region you own and run /region sell to list it at your own asking price. The buyer pays you directly, and the region changes hands with its members cleared.
• Sale flags - a clickable orange flag stands on each buy region that is for sale and opens a page with the plot's size, build height and price, a Show outline button and Buy. /region saleflag places and removes them.
• Buy regions can be grouped with a purchase limit - buy_group_limit.<group> in the config caps how many regions of that group one player may own, and questlinesclaims.buy.limit.<group>.N permissions raise it per rank.
• Selling back to the server can be switched off per buy region, so its owner sells to other players instead.
• Compound regions - add extra boxes, polygons or circles to a region, each with its own floor and ceiling, to grow it or cut space out of it, so one region can follow a real building while keeping one set of flags and members.
• /region merge folds other regions into one, and /region part or the region editor's new Parts page adds, cuts and edits the pieces.

⚙ Changes
• Deleting a region, plot, claim home or permission group now takes two clicks - the button changes to Confirm? first, so a stray click can no longer delete anything.
• Clear and Abandon on the plot window ask for the same confirmation.

⚡ Performance
• Large polygon and circle regions no longer bog the server down. The world map overlay was asking a region nine separate "is this block inside you?" questions for every pixel of every map chunk, each one walking the whole outline - a 33-point region cost over half a million outline steps per map chunk, on every chunk a map pan draws.
• Particle borders now only draw the stretch of a border near the player. A long border used to be walked end to end every emission and then thrown away, so the cost grew with the size of the region rather than with what you could actually see.
• Region lookups no longer fall off a cliff past roughly 2048 blocks across - regions that big used to be re-tested on every position check anywhere in the world.
• The map overlay now finds the regions in a chunk from the region index instead of scanning every region on the server for each chunk it draws.

🐛 Fixes
• Claim Staff outlines now sit on top of the ground instead of half inside it.
• Editing a region no longer overwrites its Expand Y setting with the staff's.
• /region deselect now clears circle selections too.
• Plot worlds, mines, claim homes, Buy Chunks and the chunk allowance commands now show up in German, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Russian instead of falling back to English.
• Fixed the search box icon in the region editor and the Copy Settings picker, which was pointing at a path that does not resolve.
• Members you add to a city or nation claim now actually get the permissions you gave them - build, break and the rest were saved but ignored, so only city ranks could grant anything.
• Permission groups now apply on city and nation land too, matching player claims.
• Opening the map from the plot window no longer crashes the client, and neither do Travel here or Abandon.
• Regions with the Spawn flag turned off now stop mobs from spawning instead of deleting them a moment after they appear - no more mobs blinking in and out inside a no-spawn region, and the world's spawn budget goes somewhere useful. Chunks a region only partly covers still use the old removal so nothing outside the border is affected. Turn it off with prevent_spawns_at_source in /claim config if you want the old behaviour back.
• Fixed a freeze that could leave a whole world stuck until the server was restarted - the fire and fluid spread sweeps handed their work to the server's shared worker pool, and on a busy world that hand-off could be lost. Players in the affected world could not connect while it lasted.
• Transferring a claim no longer hands the new owner flags they could never have turned on themselves - Fly and any other flag that needs a perk is switched off unless the new owner has that perk too.
• Losing a perk now takes its flags with it - when a player whose rank no longer includes Fly (or another perk-locked flag) logs in, it is switched off on their claims and they get a chat message saying so.
