PlotPlus-Patches

Enhanced protection patches for PlotPlus — adds deep engine-level plot protection that cannot be achieved through the plugin API alone.

Features

BuilderTools Protection

• Selection Tool — Prevents selecting, transforming, and rotating blocks in protected plots
• Fill Operations — Prevents filling blocks in areas you don't have permission to build
• Prefab Paste — Prevents pasting prefabs into protected plots

Fluid Spread Protection

• Fluids (water, lava, etc.) no longer spread across plot boundaries
• Works with both default and finite fluid types
• Prevents placing fluids that would flow into neighboring plots

Crop Harvest Protection

• Prevents harvesting crops on plots you don't have access to

Requirements

• PlotPlus v2.0.0-beta.4 or later
• Hyxin (mixin framework)

Installation

1. Install Hyxin if you haven't already
2. Download PlotPlus-Patches-x.x.x.jar
3. Place it in your server's earlyplugins folder alongside Hyxin
4. Start the server

PlotPlus automatically detects the patches and enables enhanced protection. No configuration needed.

Do I Need This?

PlotPlus works without this mod — basic block break/place and interaction protection is handled by the main plugin. Install this mod if you want:

• BuilderTools protection — Without patches, players with BuilderTools access can bypass plot protection using selection tools, fill, and paste operations
• Fluid protection — Without patches, fluids can spread freely across plot boundaries
• Harvest protection — Without patches, players can harvest crops on any plot

How It Works

PlotPlus-Patches uses Hyxin mixins to inject protection checks directly into Hytale's internal systems. The patches communicate with PlotPlus through a lightweight bridge — no direct class dependencies between the two mods.
