Description
A simple mod that adds Boots of Swiftness, which are boots that let the wearer dash by either double tapping a direction or pressing the "walk" keybind. (this is unbound by default)
-Dashing consumes 1.5 stamina and stuns stamina regeneration for 1 second.
-You cannot dash while below 1.5 stamina.
-Dashing has a short cooldown, but with the right timing, you can chain dashes (as shown above). Do note that this also means more stamina drain.
Controls:
-While standing still, double tap a direction to dash.
-While moving, let go of your movement key then press it again to dash, this was done to make it less hassling to dash while moving.
-Additionally, rapidly changing directions will trigger a dash as that is what most people would use a dash for. Though, in order to reduce accidental dashes, there is a brief window where this cannot trigger, so be sure to space out your inputs.
-Alternatively, you can hold the walk keybind for a short duration to force a dash. Do note that this currently only works while grounded.
