Description
Ore Infested Rats adds a fun new way to get ores in Hytale—even without a pickaxe. Deep in caves and forests, some rats have become infused with the ores around them. Over time, the minerals they live near start growing on them, creating rats with different ore types like copper, iron, gold, and more.
These ore-infested critters spawn in the same places where ores naturally generate, so you might run into them while exploring or mining. When defeated, they drop 1–3 pieces of the ore they carry(still drops wildmeat and light hide), giving you a small bonus while adventuring.
The mod also includes mithril, onyxium, and prisma ore rats. These variants exist in the game, but they don’t spawn naturally yet, since those ores aren’t obtainable in Adventure Mode for now.
