  • This update will disable the 5 seconds cooldown I added yesterday to fix the insta teleportation issue :clown:. Hytale updated their teleportation system a few hours ago and now when you teleport somewhere, it adds a 250ms cooldown to you and blocks you from going through another teleporter until you move 1.3 blocks XZ or 2.5 blocks Y. In practice, once you teleport and land on the teleporter block steps, you are able to teleport again. Interdimensional teleportation seems to not really be considered on their implementation, funny things might happen, again, will let people find out.

  • It now sorts warp destinations Alphabetically.

  • Now if a teleporter is somehow restricted (party or owner only), it will display " - (RESTRICTED)" in the game's language when setting the warp destination, beware that you do not need to type the restricted part for commands, it is simply a visual thing. Some people did complain about being able to teleport to people whose teleporters were restricted and public, so they would not be able to teleport back. There are servers using these kind of teleporters for events, and its a "just because you can doesnt mean you should" scenario so this will not be changed, hopefully the explicitly listing will help people rethink the choices they are about to make.

  • Added an explicit "Allow Public Destination Change" checkbox. Because people were getting confused about this, in default Hytale, ALL teleporters are public because they are handled by the warps.json file only. I take a privacy-first approach, the visibility setting only defines if someone should be able to teleport to your teleporter (see it in the list) or not. Locking settings before I was forgetting to lock warp destination together with it, so I made the explicit setting so people can lock their settings and let others change destination. By default, all teleporters loading on this version will be set to true, which was the expected behavior by most people beforehand.

  • Added the very first working form of the /teleporter trustgui, and yes, I know that the + button looks like a ticket, I also have not properly tested what happens if you trust a lot of people, I fully expect it to act weird. Remember that when you trust someone (either via the gui or via the command), they are just allowed to go through your teleporter if its restricted, in order to allow them to change the warp name, destination, settings or break, you need to explicitly grant the permission in the gui. I expect to flesh it out on the next update, which will focus on the admin side of commands.
