Do often find yourself saying "That belongs in a museum!!" as you slaughter enemies only to discover most mobs don't drop their gear? Museum Mob Drops fixes that! I've added the weapons & armors to many of the games mobs as rare drops (most are between 10 - 15% drop rate) so you can curate the museum of your dreams.
This mod is intended to be a 'collectibles' focused mod to give you a reason to grind mobs once you no longer need anything they drop in vanilla.
📦REQUIRED Mods: The Hytalor mod
Why is Hytalor Necessary?
Currently the game has no mechanism for merging drop lists, so only one modification to a drop list gets read by the game. If you have 3 mods that change the droplists for the Skeleton Archer, for example, only one of those mods gets to make the change. Hytalor provides the mechanism to merge changes from each mod that provides patches so all the mods get to make their changes.

- Skeleton Archmage (10%) includes staff
- Skeleton Mage (10%) includes wantd
- Burnt Alchemist (10%)
- Burnt Knight (10%)
- Burnt Wizard includes spellbook (10%)
- Burnt Archer (10%)
- Burnt Gunner includes blunderbus (10%)
- Frost Archmage includes staff (10%)
- Frost Mage includes spellbook (10%)
- Frost Fighter (10%) now includes Frost Sword
- Frost Knight (10%) now includes Frost Sword
- Incandescent Fighter (15%) includes weapon & shield
- Incandescent Footman (not currently in game w/o mods) (15%)
- Incandescent Mage includes spellbook (10%)
- Incandescent Footman armor drops from Incandescent Fighter (10%)
- Sand Archmage (10%) includes bronze staff
- Sand Archer (10%) includes bronze shortbow
- Sand Assassin (10%) includes ancient bronze daggers
- Sand Guard (10%) includes bronze spear
- Sand Mage (10%) includes spellbook
- Sand Solider (10%) includes bronze sword
- Sand Ranger (10%)
- Wraith (15%) includes scythe

- Void Spawn, spectres, & the eye void have a chance to drop any one of 5 pieces of the Necromancer's gear includes spellbook (5%). The legs are my creation as the Necromancer (not currently available w/o mods) doesn't wear leg / foot armor.
Not all mobs are equipped with head, chest, hand, and leg armor so some sets only have 2 or 3 pieces.
Armor & Weapon Stats:
All armor & weapons have stats that Hytale added when the items were created. I have now added / tweaked stats to most of the armor. This is still a WIP. I created this mod originally as a collectibles mod & I don't normally add/tweak armor stats so don't expect too much :)
Armor Is Wearable:
Everything can be worn, but really, why do you want to wear the armor of a mob you've killed hundreds of? Clearly it isn't very good lol.
Craftable Armors & Fabric Bolts:
There is a new workbench, the loom, which allows you craft fabric bolts from fabric scraps & spiderwebs (silk). There are now numerous craftable armors made from cloth, leather & wood. All of them are vanilla assets that I activated for crafting. There is also the new Black Cloth mage armor which is meant as a basic outfit for armor dummies that just display weapons.
Craftable Storage from Fabric Bolts:
Craftable storage containers that look like stacks of fabric bolts are now craftable at the loom. New decorative-only fabric spools are also crafted at the loom. All my fabric bolts are now placeable too!
Salvage Everything:
All items (should) have salvage recipes. This includes weapons. Bronze ingots drop from the bronze armor & gear.
Suggestions welcome! If I haven't added a mob with unique armor / weapons, let me know!
This is my first Hytale mod & the most extensive mod I've ever made. Be gentle please!
📦Recommended Mods:
Advanced Armor Stand or any mod that adds in armor stand / mannequins to the game.
Decorative Weapons & Shields adds the ability to transform weapons & shields into decorative items that can be wall mounted
Mob Trophies adds in statues & trophy heads for most of the mobs. Also inlcudes a Hytalor version so it is compatible with my mod.
Endgame & QoL - adds a ton of new content, highly recommended. The new warden summons spawn the Burnt Wizard making it a lot easier to grind for his gear.
Better Void Mod - Adds the Pirate Captain spawns in all the towers with a pointed roof (accessible via the ancient portal).
Land1's Endgame Dungeons - Great way to grind skeleton gear.
PJ Mob Events - Super fun as a late game mod, good way to grind some of the mob drops.
The Lost Garden - Shameless plug for my mod. Adds in all the wizards & tons of flowers.
