Two fixes for bounties you have already accepted: you can now drop one from the Quests menu, and you can always collect a finished one even after it rotates off the board.

  • New: abandon an accepted bounty from the Quests menu. Bounties you have picked up carry an Abandon button in the Quests menu, just like a regular quest. It works even after the bounty has rotated off the board, so a contract you no longer want never stays stuck in your log. (Turning in and claiming still happen at the Bounty Board.)
  • Fixed: a finished bounty could become impossible to collect once it expired. A delivery bounty waits at the board for you to hand in its items, and a reward held back by a full inventory waits to be claimed. If the bounty rotated off the board first, it used to vanish and the reward was lost. The Bounty Board adds a "Ready to turn in" section at the top of the list with every bounty you can still hand in or claim, regardless of whether it is still in the current rotation.
  • Fixed: a finished bounty handed you its reward out in the world instead of at the board. Bounties used to pay out the moment you completed them, which is what could strand a reward when the bounty later expired. A finished bounty now always waits at the Bounty Board for you to claim, so the board is the one place you collect a contract and the reward is never lost. (Quests are unaffected, and the Bounty Contracts Pack 1.1.1 pairs with this.)
  • Fixed: the guide NPC opened the menu straight away instead of greeting you, on older worlds. On a world first created before the welcome dialogue existed, pressing F on the guide opened the feature menu directly, and the intro conversation was only reachable through the menu's help option. The guide now reads its current setting when you talk to it, so it greets you with the welcome dialogue (or whatever a server owner has configured) without needing the world reset.
