Machinaria adds a new fragment of Orbis to explore called the Rusted Expanse! A scrapyard biome of colossal gears, rusted arches, and clockwork threats. Explore the ruins and craft mechanical gadgets from what remains using the Mechanics Workbench.
Craft the portal key to the Rusted Expanse in the Arcanist's workbench and use it on an ancient gateway to open the portal. All other items can be crafted in the Mechanics Workstation which itself is crafted in Workbench.
Clockwork Heart
This is a special ingredient used to craft the gadgets in the mod. It can be obtained by slaying clockwork enemies in the Rusted Expanse.
The Bolt Gun
The Bolt gun is crafted in the Mechinics workstation alongside the bolts it uses as ammunition. It's a slightly upgraded crossbow which shoots bouncier bolts rather than regular arrows.
Ancient Pocket Watch
This relic stores up time when inside your inventory or backpack. You can then use this stored-up time by right clicking any sort of processing bench like the furnace or campfire to speed up its processing temporarily. This effect can stack up to 5 times costing more stored time for each stack.
