Keyblades from Kingdom Hearts as a new weapon type!

Description

Adds Keyblades from the Kingdom Hearts series as a new weapon type!

Currently uses the Longsword animations with the standard sword block + charge and the Mace ultimate.

Updates will more than likely be infrequent. Still trying to get my bearings with modding this game without breaking literally everything.

Version 1.0 of the mod will likely be when I finish the main progression Keyblades (from Crude to Prisma) as well as the custom Keyblade Forge model.

(First 3 gallery images created prior to switching to Longsword animations)

  • Basic Keyblades are for the main progression Keyblades, from Copper to Prisma.
  • Special Keyblades are ones that are recurring, significant, or tied to a particular character.
  • Before the Start is for Keyblades from the time between Union X to Birth by Sleep.
  • Main Trilogy is, as the name suggests, for Keyblades from Kingdom Hearts I, II, and III.
  • Intermissions is for Keyblades from games like 358/2 Days, Coded, and Dream Drop Distance.
  • Alternate Stories is for custom Keyblades that aren't in any actual Kingdom Hearts game.

Adding the Basic Keyblades to the Blacksmith's Anvil requires Hytalor.

Currently Complete:

  • Keyblade Forge Model
  • Ability Card Model/Textures/Icons
  • "Keyblade Shrine" Prefab (This will contain recipes for strong Keyblades, such as the Ultima Weapons) (Currently does not spawn. Will figure it out later)
  • Main progression Keyblades: Crude Key, Copper Key, Iron Key, Thorium Key, Cobalt Key, Adamantite Key, Onyxium Key, Prisma Key
  • Kingdom Key + Kingdom Key D (low damage 1st and 2nd hits, high damage 3rd hit and ultimate)
  • Starlight (Slightly below Thorium, stronger ultimate, takes longer to charge)
  • X-Blade (Sharing a lot of things with the Kingdom Key actually made it easy)
  • Custom Keyblades:
    • Torchlight Keyblade (Cobalt tier, lower damage but glows and applies a DoT)

  • Keyblade Modifier System - Adds a way to provide Keyblades with different effects. Can be equipped and unequipped on a per-player basis so that you don't have to unequip and reequip with different Keyblades each time you change. Realistically, this would just be changing the root interaction variable on the Keyblade on the fly to point to different things. No idea how I'd pull this off, so I might need to ask for help if I ever decide to go for this. Obviously for balance purposes, you'd only be able to have one of each type equipped at once.
