V2 UPDATE:

Merchant Spawn Fix: The Egg Traders no longer spawn everywhere. Rules have been tuned to be in certain biomes only and overall spawn weight and density were reduced. Egg Nest Workbench: This update adds a brand new small crafting station for Pets & Mounts so you can get eggs through crafting as an alternative to merchants.
