Fixes

  • Salvager — Fixed Salvager not salvaging variant weapons automatically. Variant weapons now correctly trigger salvage recipes when placed.
  • Thorns — Fixed Thorns Aura special effect applying to the player instead of enemies. Thorns Aura now correctly applies to enemies you hit. On-hit Thorns variant continues to work as configured.
  • Life Steal — Fixed Life Steal application and display. Heal amount is now correctly calculated (total damage × lifesteal %), clamped to max HP, and the toast shows the actual amount healed.
  • Bleed — Fixed Bleed on-hit effect not being found; added stat aliases (BleedChance, Bleed) so the effect applies correctly.

Special effects

  • Special effects on all weapons — Special attacks (Blazing Ring, Frost Nova, Poison Cloud, Thunder Strike, Thorns Aura) now roll on all weapons, not just elite/boss/Mythic.
  • Epic/Legendary/Mythic — High-rarity weapons have a higher chance to roll better tiers for special effects (tier 2–3 instead of tier 1).
  • Rarity-based backfire — Lower-rarity weapons (Common, Uncommon, Junk) have a configurable chance that special effects backfire (apply to the weapon user instead of the enemy). Epic/Legendary/Mythic weapons have no backfire by default. Tunable via specialAttackBackfireChanceHighRarity, specialAttackBackfireChanceLowRarity, specialAttackBackfireChanceDefault.

Tooltips

  • Tooltip order — Reordered: Special effects → Variant % → On hit/Backfire effects → Other stats.
