HyBaubles-1.1.0.jar
What's new
1.1.0
Third-party accessory support, and fixes for two crashes that could take a world down.
Features
- Third-party accessory support. Items from other mods can be given a definition and equipped in
a bauble slot, gaining HyBaubles' slot rules and any effects the definition declares. Shipped
definitions cover the FineCraft-Accessories jewellery (
Accessory_Ring_Iron,Accessory_Necklace_Iron,Accessory_Earring_Iron,Accessory_Belt_Leather).
Fixes
- Crash: opening the screen on a fresh world.
BaublePagecreated the player's equipment component lazily, and the screen is opened from a ticking system, whereStore.addComponentthrowsIllegalStateException: Store is currently processing!. The component is now assigned in the player-ready handler, and the page is read-only. Existing worlds hid this, because the component was already saved — it only appeared for a player who had never opened the screen before. - Crash: speed reconciliation from a tick. The re-assert path reached for the store through
Ref.getStore(), which is illegal while the store is processing. It now takes the accessor the ticking system already holds.
Changes
- Crafting no longer requires knowledge.
KnowledgeRequiredisfalseon all twelve craftable baubles, so they can be made without having discovered anything first.
Limitations
- Definitions carry HyBaubles' own effects. A mod that grants behaviour by watching the vanilla
inventory — for example AngelRing's flight, which scans
getCombinedEverything()forAngel_Ring— will not see an item moved into a bauble slot, because bauble slots are not one of the inventory sections the engine combines. Such behaviour cannot be carried across by a definition.
