Welcome to the Hollow Knight Universe in Hytale!
This mod plans to add everything from both Hollow Knight games.
You can play this mod in Exploration Mode, being able to craft the three new Workbenches, that will let you craft Hornet's Mask, Needle, and Cloak!
There are some more extra items in Creative Mode, but most of these are unfinished and have no use!
For a better Exploration Mode experience, download the latest Beta version. If you like to play on creative, you can download the latest Alpha version for all the newer Creative-Only items.

The workbenches for this mod can be crafted at the basic workbench at Tier 3.
The Hive's Forge
Used to craft Needles and upgrade them. Currently you need Iron, Gold, Copper and Adamantite to craft a Needle.
The Weaver's Loom
Used to craft Hornet's Cloaks with Cindercloth and upgrade them.
The Mask Maker's Workbench
Used to craft Masks. Currently, you can only craft Hornet's Mask using iron ingots, bones, and seashells.
Rosary Stringing Machine
String rosaries together using this machine to keep them safe!
Resting Bench
Works like a bed.
Hornet's Mask
Grants protection and lots of mana. Mana is needed to throw the needle. It will have more uses in the future.
Hornet's Cloak
Grants stamina and protection. Can be upgraded for better stats.
Has 3 stages:
- Hunter's Cloak
- Drifter's Cloak
- Faydown Cloak
More abilities for them will come soon.
Hornet's Needle
Has multiple abilities which you'll need to learn to master:
- Basic Combo: Standing Still or Moving Forward + Left Click
- Side Combo: Moving Left or Moving Right + Left Click
- Back Combo: Moving Backwards + Left Click
- Pogo: Jump + Left Click
- Thrust: Standing Still or Moving Forward + Hold Left Click
- Whirlwind: Moving Backwards + Hold Left Click
- Block: Hold Right Click
- Block bash: Standing Still + Hold Right Click + Left Click
- Dash: Hold Right Click + Move Any Direction + Left Click
- Spear throw: Hold Right Click + Hold Left Click + Release Left Click
- Special attack: Q when Signature Energy is full
The needle can be upgraded for extra damage.
Stages:
- Base Needle
- Sharpened Needle
The needle also glows in the dark, so no need to carry torches while using it!
Seth's Cymbal Shield
Can be held in main or off hand. Hold up the shield and charge it's attack to throw the shield and damage enemies. The shield will bounce off floors and walls until coming to a stop. You can also use the shield to dash around. Hold up the shield while jumping to smash down with force. Combine the shield with Hornet's Needle for a perfect combat kit. Crafted at the Armorer's Workbench at tier 3.
Shakra's Throwing Rings
Attack with quick, close range strikes by clicking left click, and hold it to charge a powerful thrust attack that will push you forward in a direction, damaging all enemies in your path. Hold right click to throw Throwing Rings. Shakra's Throwing Rings have an unlimited amount of Throwing Rings, but you have 4 shots that will recharge over time. Crafted at the Blacksmith's Anvil at tier 3.
Fine Pin
Common weapon of Pharloom, still in good condition despite long use. An expertly crafted metal rod with a sharpened tip.
Can be crafted with 9 iron in the Blacksmith's Anvil. It can also used by Rosary Skeletons as a weapon.
Phantom's Longpin (Creative Only)
Same as Fine Pin, but better stats.
Straight Pin
Light throwing tool, designed for rapid attacks. Crafted in the inventory.
Throwing Ring
Blunt force weapon that rebounds between hard surfaces. Crafted in the inventory.
Threefold Pins
Flat, layered weapon, crafted to be thrown in a set. Crafted in the inventory.
Flea Brew
New food item that can be crafted at the Chef's Stove and Alchemist's Workbench. Requires lots of ingredients, but it's worth it!
Rosary Cannon
This new gun can be crafted at the Blacksmith's Anvil at Tier 3. Shoots quickly, dealing low damage and pushing your character back. Uses Rosaries as ammunition.
Enhanced Rosary Cannon
Can be crafted at the Blacksmith's Anvil at Tier 3. Shoots quickly, dealing low damage and pushing your character back. Uses Rosaries as ammunition.
Rosary
These are used as ammunition for the Rosary Cannon.
Interact with coffins or cocoons to spawn Rosary Skeletons and eliminate them for Rosaries.
Shell Rosary
Counts as 5 rosaries.
Has a rare chance to drop from Rosary Skeletons.
Pearl Rosary (Creative Only)
Counts as 15 rosaries.
NPCs
Fragments and Biomes
Craft yourself a portal key in the Arcanist Workbench to open the portal to the new fragment: Forgotten Crossroads. Explore the wastelands, a large desert-like area, full of blue colored sand and large fossils. Experience new weather and discover all the enemies that live in this biome. Find your way to the Crossroads below to fight new enemies and collect more loot.

- Two types of Geo
The Hivesteel Ore can be found in the Forgotten Crossroads biome, but can't be mined.
Fungal Wastes Shrooms spread and make particle effects.
Void Fluid damages anyone in it, drains their mana, and alters their vision when submerged.
Soul Fluid heals players in it, sometimes gives them mana, and alters their vision when submerged. It also glows a lot.
Both fluids have particle effects.
More Info
The ideas for this mod come from the games Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong developed by Team Cherry!
Some assets, like textures, are used from the game and edited to fit into Hytale.
Crafting recipes will likely change in the future when more materials are added.
I try to keep everything lore accurate to Hollow Knight.
