GlymeraVehicles-5.0.0.jar
What's new
GlymeraVehicles - Changelog
v5.0.0 (2026-10-14) — Airship climbing fixed for Hytale 0.7
- Fix: the airship can climb again on 0.7. The 0.7 game client ignores the server's lift while you ride a mount, so the airship only hopped up briefly and dropped back down. Climbing now uses the airship's own jump: every press of Space lifts it about 4–5 blocks, and it stays at the new height. Press again to keep climbing (holding Space does not repeat).
- Hovering, steering, descending (scroll your hotbar) and parking are unchanged. Boats, rafts and cars are not affected.
- Upgrade: replace the jar in
mods/, keep the plugin's data folder, restart the server.
v4.0.0 (2026-10-12) — Hytale 0.7.0 (Update 7)
- Rebuilt for Hytale 0.7.0 (Update 7 / Chapter 1). Requires server 0.7.0 or newer; this version does not run on 0.6.x, and the previous version does not run on 0.7.0 (the server removed the old block and chunk API).
- Migrated to the 0.7.0 world API: block reads and writes now go through the chunk store and block sections (
BlockOperations), chunk ticking through the engine's new marker component, spawn points through the asynchronous spawn provider. - Mod icon added (
icon-256.pngin the jar) so the plugin shows its picture in the world's mod list instead of a question mark. - Upgrade: delete the old jar from
mods/, drop in the new one and keep the plugin's data folder — configs and saved data carry over unchanged. Restart the server.
v3.0.0 (2026-08-28) — Hytale 0.6.0 (Update 6)
- Rebuilt for Hytale 0.6.0 (Update 6). Requires server 0.6.0 or newer; this version does not run on 0.5.x, and older versions of this plugin do not run on 0.6.0.
- Migrated to the 0.6.0 APIs (network protocol hytale/3, new command-permission API, block/chunk/entity API changes). Everything that was open to players before is open to players again.
- Upgrade: delete the old jar from
mods/, drop in the new one and keep the plugin's data folder — configs and saved data carry over unchanged. Restart the server.
v2.0.0 (2026-08-17)
Fixed
Vehicles are actually craftable in survival now. All 14 recipes moved from the Builder's Workbench to the regular Workbench, into the Tinkering tab. The Builder's Workbench is a structural-crafting bench: its UI converts a single deposited material into block shapes, and every one of its 899 native recipes has exactly one ingredient. Our three-ingredient vehicle recipes could never be entered there, so vehicles were effectively uncraftable in survival (reported by a player on Discord, 2026-08-16).
Parked vehicles no longer show a phantom hitbox next to the model. All parked vehicle blocks reused the native boat block hitbox, an asymmetric boat silhouette that never rotates with the parking direction — most visibly a nearly cube-sized box floating beside parked cars (the boat's raised bow). Every vehicle family now ships its own per-direction hitbox (16 custom hitbox assets), measured from the actual model geometry.
Notes
- Recipes themselves are unchanged (same ingredients, costs and 5s craft time), only the bench
moved. The
recipe*Enabledconfig toggles keep working as before. - No Java behavior changes. Already-placed vehicles pick up the corrected hitboxes automatically.
v1.0.0 (2026-07-18)
- Initial CurseForge release: 14 rideable vehicles (car, airship, boat, raft in multiple colors), park-as-block system, 2x ride speed, airship flight, engine sound, recipe & speed config.
