Description
Roadmap
Endless Ember
Endless Ember expands Hytale with a full progression system around advanced fuels, ember technology, and magical ore gardening.
What started as high-performance fuel sticks has evolved into a broader gameplay loop:
- craft and upgrade long-burning fuels,
- process resources with custom stations,
- create mineral soils,
- grow rare ember flowers,
- and refine their pollen into valuable materials.
🔥 Fuel Progression
Build your way through fuel tiers for longer burn times and fewer refuels:
- MK1: 60s
- MK2: 180s
- MK3: 360s
- Infinite Fuel: 3600s
Designed for smoother smelting/crafting workflows and long base sessions.
🛠 Core Stations
Ember Workbench (Tinkerbench)
- Custom crafting station for Endless Ember progression.
- Used to craft fuels, mineral tools/materials, and flower-related content.
- Craftable from the normal Workbench path.
Ember Press
- Processes materials under pressure/heat.
- Turns ores into chunk/powder progression items.
- Converts flower pollen into useful resources.
🌱 Ember Gardening System
A full ore-flower farming branch with progression soils and tiered plants.
Mineral Soil Progression
- Mineral Soil (MK1)
- Advanced Mineral Soil (MK2)
- Premium Mineral Soil (MK3)
Special crops require specific soil tiers.
Ore Flower Families (currently available)
- Conductive Blossom (Copper)
- Rust Flower (Iron)
- Mirror Flower (Silver)
- Blue Star Flower (Cobalt)
- Glitter Thistle (Thorium)
- Aurum Bloom (Gold)
- World Core Bloom
- Mystical Mountain Eye
- Onyxium Heart
✂ Harvesting Behavior (Important)
- Hand harvest uproots the plant (no regrow).
- Sickle harvest keeps the plant cycle alive (regrowth supported).
⚖ Balance & Progression Design
- Clear tier progression across fuels, soils, and flowers.
- Strong utility gains balanced by recipe costs and production chain depth.
- Intended for players who enjoy:
- efficient production setups,
- long crafting sessions,
- farming + processing loops,
- base-scale resource automation playstyles.
🚧 Active Development
Endless Ember is actively expanding with new systems (tools/weapons, alchemy branch, and more progression content). Feedback and balancing suggestions are welcome.
A quick personal note
This is my first mod project, and I plan to keep expanding it over time. I don’t know yet whether I’ll be able to bring it up to the level of a standalone mod. I also won’t be able to deliver content regularly. I’ve just recently become a father, so my top priority is, of course, my family.
If you still want to, you’re very welcome to follow me on this journey! Use and share the mod — and if you’d like, buy me a coffee:
