Comet Raids Redux adds dynamic falling comet events to Hytale, spawning configurable tiered enemy waves with themed encounters and zone-based loot rewards.

Description

Comet Raids Redux turns your Hytale world into a live raid experience with crashing comets, escalating enemy waves, themed encounters, and progression-based rewards.

Track comets on the map, activate the stone, survive the full encounter, and claim the reward chest when the wave is complete. Every part of the system is built to be configurable, so you can tune it for casual co-op servers, hardcore progression, or event-driven worlds.

Progression and Loot Design
Comet rewards are designed to feel consistent with your world’s progression:
• Zone pool defines local material identity
• Tier pool defines encounter difficulty reward band
• Lower-tier inheritance adds occasional crossover drops at reduced rates. This keeps loot relevant by location while still rewarding higher-tier encounters with stronger value.

Integration

Comet Raids will check for the following mods and has a toggle in the json to enable/disable the ability to spawn inside claims or not.

Endgame Integration
Tier 5 (Mythic) is designed for Endgame integration content.
• If Endgame & QoL is installed, Mythic can use Endgame materials (including Prisma/Onyxium progression rewards).
• If it is not installed, the mod still loads and Tier 5 is automatically disabled.

• Adjustable spawn timing/chance/distance/despawn
• Per-zone tier chance control
• Per-tier combat and reward tuning
• Separate themes/monster-groups config
• Global tier/zone mob stat scaling
