A round-based Zombies minigame for Hytale: configure spawn points, start a game, and fight escalating waves that auto-advance with an intermission countdown.

Description

COD-Like Zombies adds a simple, configurable Zombies “waves” game mode to your Hytale server. Create a game instance, place spawn points, then start the first round. Zombies will spawn near active players (based on proximity), and rounds automatically advance when all zombies are eliminated. Between rounds, players get a short intermission message before the next wave begins.

Create a game:

Add one or more spawn points (stand where you want zombies to appear):

Set the base zombie count for Round 1:

Start the game (starts the next round):

Stop the game:

Quick Start Example

  1. /zombie-create test
  2. Walk to a few locations and run: /zombie-addspawn test (repeat a few times)
  3. /zombie-setamount test 8
  4. /zombie-start test
  5. Kill the wave; after the intermission, the next round starts automatically.

 

Notes

  • Zombie types are spawned via the server’s NPC system (role-based). If a specific variant role name isn’t available on your server build, the plugin falls back to the default Zombie role.
  • Spawn points activate when players are within the configured proximity radius.
