Zero0oClasses is a modular class framework for Hytale servers built for creators who want full control over class identity, progression, restrictions, and server-side customization.

## New In Recent Versions

Zero0oClasses now includes an admin-focused class editor workflow.

Server administrators can now create a new class or edit an existing one through a simple in-game admin UI, then save the result directly into the generated `classes.json` configuration.

This makes class setup much faster for testing, balancing, and live server iteration.

Recent improvements also include:

## Included Starter Setup

Zero0oClasses includes a clean starter setup that can be used immediately or completely reworked.

Starter classes include:

- Warrior
- Knight
- Thief
- Archer
- Mage

Depending on your server profile, the full class setup can also be expanded into a larger roster.

These classes are only a starting point.
You can keep them, rename them, rebalance them, replace them, or build entirely new ones.

## Admin Class Editor

The mod now includes a simple admin class editor flow.

Admins can:

- create a new class from an in-game command
- open a dedicated class admin UI
- edit base stats
- edit passive stat bonuses
- edit level growth values
- switch role presets
- save changes directly to `classes.json`
- reload the class data cleanly

This makes Zero0oClasses much easier to use during active development and balancing.

Current admin workflow:

- `/classeadmin create <id> <display name>`
- `/classeadmin edit <classId>`

Example:

- `/classeadmin create gladiator Gladiator`
- `/classeadmin edit warrior`

The admin UI is intentionally simple and focused on fast server-side iteration.

## Built For Customization

Zero0oClasses is fully editable through generated JSON configuration files.

## Starter Packs

Zero0oClasses now supports starter packs for class onboarding.

When a player receives a class for the first time, the mod can automatically grant a basic equipment set matching that class.

This helps reduce setup friction and makes the early class experience much smoother.

Examples include:

- melee classes receiving starter weapons
- ranged classes receiving bows or crossbows with ammunition
- magic classes receiving a wand, staff, or spellbook

## Installation

Place the mod jar inside your server `mods` folder.

Place the generated `Zero0oClasses` data folder in the same location if needed by your setup.

Example:

- `mods/Zero0oClasses-xxxx.jar`
- `mods/Zero0oClasses/`

Then start or restart the server.

Zero0oClasses uses editable JSON files stored inside the `Zero0oClasses` folder.

These files can include:

- `classes.json`
- `class-restrictions.json`

### Player Commands

- `/classe`
Shows your current class and progression.

- `/classe ui`
Opens the class selection UI.

- `/classe panel`
Opens the class status UI.

- `/classe info`
Alias for the class status UI.

- `/classe status`
Alias for the class status UI.

- `/classe help`
Displays command help.

### Utility Commands

- `/classe reload`
Reloads the plugin JSON files.

- `/classe resetstats`
Recaptures native base stats.

- `/classe cleanstats`
Clears captured base stats and class stat modifiers.

- `/classexp <amount>`
Adds internal class XP for testing or administration.

### Admin Commands

- `/classeadmin <player> <class>`
Assigns a class to a player.

- `/classeadmin <player> reset`
Resets a player's class.

- `/classeadmin create <id> <display name>`
Creates a new class draft and opens the admin UI.

- `/classeadmin edit <classId>`
Opens the admin UI for an existing class.

Admin access follows the server's native operator permission logic.

## Progression

Players can:

- receive a class
- gain class XP
- level their class
- gain additional stats through level scaling
- track progression in dedicated UI panels

Server owners can tune the pacing and progression structure to fit their own world design.
