Buff Stacks

Buff effects stack instead of resetting! Eat multiple berries and each one queues a full regen cycle instead of wasting the current one.

What It Does

In vanilla Hytale, eating food while a buff is active completely resets the timer - your current progress is wasted. BuffStacks fixes this by queuing additional cycles instead.

Eat 3 berries and you get 3 full Health Regen cycles played back-to-back. The ring timer never resets mid-cycle, and a small "x3" overlay shows how many stacks you have.

How It Works

Eat food that gives a buff (berries, potions, etc.)
Eat again while the buff is still active
Stack queues - the current cycle continues uninterrupted
HUD shows "x2" over the status icon so you know it's queued
Cycles play in order - when the first finishes, the next starts automatically

When you hit max stacks and eat again, the timer resets instead of queuing (just like vanilla). You'll see a warning notification and the stack counter flashes red.

Commands

/bstack - Show current settings and active stacks
/bstack max <2-5> - Set your max stack limit (default: 3)
/bstack notif <on/off> - Toggle max-stacks warning notification (default: on)
/bstack layout <16:9|16:10> - Set your display aspect ratio (fixes counter alignment)
/bstack help - Show all commands

All settings are per-player.

Supported Effects

Food Regen:

Health Regen (all tiers - berries, cooked food, etc.)
Health Boost (grilled fish, etc.)
Food Health Regen (Tiny, Small, Medium, Large)

Potions:

Health Potions (Lesser and Greater)
Energy/Signature Potions (Lesser and Greater)

Per-Player Settings

Every setting is saved per-player - your max stacks and notification preference won't affect anyone else on the server.

Compatibility

Hytale Version: Early Access
Optional: MultipleHUD (for HUD compatibility with other mods)
Works in both standalone and MultipleHUD mode automatically

Installation

Download the JAR file
Place in your Hytale mods folder: %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods\
Launch the game
