v1.0.3 No More Bots!

Thanks to some helpful people on my discord, I was informed that bots were having their join/welcome messages being sent and they would be joining and leaving instantly.

These bots (from what I've gathered) are just ones that go around trying to find servers to grief, similar to their Minecraft counter parts. They don't even fully join the server and disconnect before they do, and they would do this sometimes 10 times a minute and so chat was being spammed.

I simply wait 2 seconds before checking to make sure that their connection is still alive, and if not it won't send a message, this should be pretty effective for these types of bots and will hopefully stop them from spamming chat with join messages.

The user typically takes longer than 2 seconds before they can see the world so it is very unlikely to be noticeable, but even if it is, it will be a very small issue.

Other updates

• BetterJoinEarlyPlugin.jar kept disabling itself on startup, this is no longer an issue.
• DisableLeaveMessages has been temporarily removed from the config as it wasn't doing anything, it will be readded when I can dynamically enable and disable the earlyplugin.
