What's new
Here’s a dressed-up version with markdown and emojis, ready to copy:
# 🚀 **Version 1.07 is a pretty big update!** 🚀
I’m still on the mend after a cardiac event that hospitalized me and I’m doing well — I really need feedback and am pretty active on the **AWI Discord**. I’m streaming in-dev often there, so by all means **stop in!** 💙
### 📊 At a Glance:
- 🏗️ **Well over 200 items added** (quite possibly more — I stopped counting around there!)
- Additional **steel scaffolding** parts for building even larger structures
- New **catwalk** attachments
- New plain and trimmed **bay window** parts
- Preliminary outdoor **window trim** and **door trim** parts
- Various **Lantern** and **lamp post** parts
- A couple of new **lanterns** & **globes**
- New decorative **rugs** that allow item placement anywhere on top of them
- A brand new **gutter system** for attaching to the outside of buildings
- **Sidewalk** and **street** parts to make building placement and planning less of a chore
- New **black iron rails** and **fences**
- **Concrete** formulas
- **Refinement flux** formulas
- New **concrete caps** for the brick styles (think retaining walls and fences)
- A way to **increase the yield of copper and iron** through refinement
---
### ⚙️ Refinement Revolution
A big one at the top of the list: I created an immersive way to address the mod’s heavy reliance on copper and iron.
In the background, I didn’t want to increase the drop rate of ores out in the world (that can impact other mods).
Instead, we applied good old-fashioned know-how direct from our foundries and are passing it on to you through **refinement**.
👉 Look to the **Industrial Grinder** for the requirements to create the various refining fluxes — improve your yield and finally solve those iron & copper needs!
---
### 🧱 Concrete & City Planning
Our bricklayers have petitioned us long enough, and through contractual negotiation we have secured the patents and rights to release the formula information for **concrete**.
The **Industrial Grinder** is demonstrating its usefulness yet again. Retaining walls, brick caps and curbs are just the beginning.
As our industrial districts and city streets grow, it’s become even more important to plan properly and manage the downfalls of the building boom.
The **bricklayer’s bench** has new additions to help you during the planning stage and keep things well organized — and when necessary, **dry**. Curbs and drain systems should be relatively easy now.
---
### 🌧️ Gutters & Future Water Systems
Our metalsmiths have brought you ways to channel rainwater from your roofs via a brand new **gutter system**.
In the future they intend to implement these into a full **water catchment system**.
---
### 🧵 Textiles & Decor
We’ve attracted the know-how of some of the finest Weavers from different parts of the world and are passing that knowledge over to you through the **Inventor’s Desk** for now — until our engineers finish the forthcoming **Industrial Looms**.
---
### 🪟 Windows, Bay Windows & Trim
With the trials and success of the new **Industrial Bandsaw**, there are already new ways to decorate windows and other features on the outside of buildings.
It’s not just trim work — there’s also been collaboration between our **Bricklayers union** and our **Carpenters unions** to bring you **bay window parts and designs**.
---
### 💡 Lighting & Industrial Flair
You can finally bring some of that industrial flair to your city streets through new **lighting designs** and parts systems.
We’re keeping it simple with **black iron** at the moment… but look forward to highly decorative **brass** and **copper** in the future!
---
### 🏗️ Steel Scaffolding Expansion
Our Engineers have finally released the plans for additional **steel scaffolding** parts and attachments.
Extended angles and connectors make doing things like **bridges** and **landing platforms for airships** just the beginning…
