This update focuses on stability, configuration flexibility, and server management improvements.

🆕 New Features

  • Customizable /playtime top Action: You can now choose whether running /playtime top opens the GUI or shows the text leaderboard.
    • Config option: command.topStyle (Set to "text" or "gui").
  • Auto-Updating Config: You no longer need to delete your config.json when updating! The plugin will automatically add new missing settings while keeping your existing data intact.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Data Loss on Shutdown: Fixed a critical issue where player sessions were not saved if the server stopped while they were online. This often caused the leaderboard to only show operators or players who manually disconnected before the restart.

🛡️ Permissions

Added granular permissions for all commands to give server owners better control:

Command Permission Description
/playtime playtime.check Allows players to check their own playtime.
/playtime top playtime.top Allows access to the leaderboard (text or GUI).
/playtime menu playtime.gui Allows opening the interactive GUI directly.
/playtime reload playtime.reload Allows reloading the configuration.

📥 How to Update

  1. Replace the old Jar with the new v1.2.1 version.
  2. Restart your server.
  3. Optional: You can check config.json to verify the new topStyle setting has appeared automatically.
