Description

TradeSkillFluxCapacitor - This Flux Capacitor is what makes navigation in the trade skills window possible

 

This addon lets the trade skills (professions) window save the last selected recipe between multiple openings of that window or other trade skills windows or between game reloads.

It also remembers the last selected items for milling, prospecting and unravelling in the salvage slot, but "... the button must be pushed!". Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

New addon option available with v1.21.37:

With "Minimum Stack Size" the addon will only select item stacks for the salvage slot that are at least this size. Set this to 990 to process only full stack sizes.

 

A word on game/addon memory usage:

Milling, prospecting or unravelling a stack of 1,000 items will increase the wow game memory shown by Windows Task Manager by 400MB without any addons loaded. When using this addon, the game accounts this leaked memory to this addon because this addon calls the same game routines. In other words, memory leaking happens in Blizzard routines and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. So expect to have a /reload to occur after a few stacks, otherwise the game will lag due to memory being flushed to disk.

 

On LUA errors:

Currently (as we all know) whatever is generating some unforeseen LUA errors from time to time. If errors occur when switching recipes, please try changing the recipe switching speed in the addon settings of this addon first. Maybe that helps, otherwise go Back to the Future and ask Doc for help ;-)

The minimap button is disabled by default, this can be changed in the addon options.
