The all new Razer Gaming Keypad Add-on is your one-stop shop and perfect companion for Massively Multiplayer Online supremacy. The Razer Gaming Keypad Add-on allows to map your key binds right from the game without having to alt-tab to make any change. This Add-on replaces the Razer Orbweaver Add-on and adds a whole new set of features to your arsenal. Don’t worry about tedious re-setup since all your settings can be migrated with ease.
The Razer Gaming Keypad Add-on now supports the Razer Tartarus - our latest membrane gaming keypad, and is also compatible with existing Add-on’s such as the Razer Naga Add-on, Dominos and Bartender.
The Razer Gaming Keypad Add-on comes bundled by default with Synapse 2.0. Simply connect your device, open Synapse2.0 and enable the configurator by clicking on the Add-on tab.
The Razer Gaming Keypad Add-on will not replace your current Actionbar Add-on. This Add-on can be used concurrently with the Blizzard native Actionbar as well as the Razer Naga Add-on Actionbar.

“Note: In order to achieve the best possible experience, Razer recommends to run this Add-on via Razer Synapse 2.0
Driver support is required in order to bind modifier keys such as CTRL, ALT or SHIFT.”
Okay listen up :)
We REALLY want the ability to hide the D-PAD Bar!
I am not the only one saying this!
It can't be that difficult... Either let us put it offscreen or make an option to hide it.
Also, the "Enable Blizzard Action Bar" do not work. If you uncheck the box, the blizzard action bar disappears, but not for long. When you play alittle, all of a sudden the blizzard action bar will reappear...
Everything else works, it just takes alittle time to understand how it works. For example, the default keys for the addon does not match with the default keys of my new Orbweaver.
I hope you will take the time to get these things fixed, as I really like the idea of the addon!
Thank you for the feedback, it is certainly appreciated.
The Blizzard Bar can indeed be problematic and I am working to resolve the issue.
Disabling the D-Pad GUI certainly could be a useful addition to this add-on's functionality, but I am less certain how long I will be allowing this add-on's GUI to be visible within WoW. Once I have my keybindings set on the Orbweaver and once I have the keybindings **memorized**, I plan to disable this add-on. At that time I will heartily thank the author for this add-on's GUI-fied training - it is just that I do not plan to use it **long-term** (because I think this add-on defeats the purpose of keyboarding, longer term).
An alternative reason for disabling the D-Pad is within an earlier post, where someone claimed the D-pad will be used by most people for manouvering. Actually, I prefer to use the good old WASD keys over the D-Pad (upon the Orbweaver). For me, that makes the addon's upper frame slightly less useful (for training purposes) than the lower frame. YMMV.
See my response, above.
So I was looking at the add-on description and it says that"Driver support is required in order to bind modifier keys such as CTRL, ALT or SHIFT.”" Where do I find said driver?
That would be the driver that is used for the Razer gaming keypads, either the Orbweaver or the Tartarus.
Ok well I have Razer Synapse 2.0 which from my understanding is all the driver support I would need for the orbweaver, but I still cannot bind Shift, Control, or Alt so am I wrong and am I missing a driver or have I encountered a glitch of some sort?
It's been over a year since this was released, we've seen at least one update within that year. Yet the issues mentioned by users have not been addressed at all.
Make the minimap button movable, and allow us to hide it if we want, throw the settings in to menu-interace-addons like, oh, the vast majority of addons out there.
Let us hide the D-Pad, I'd bet most WoW users just use it for movement. You do not need movement keys on the screen.
Fix your addon Razer. It's second rate, at best.
The Minimap button is movable, just click and drag it.
Many of the settings are specific to the bars and require that the bar be accessible and not blocked by the default Interface menu. Not all addons have all options in the Interface menu as it is not always practical.
As for the D-Pad and the other concerns, thank you for your feedback. It will be taken under advisement.
I have been trying to map a modifier key [ALT] , [SHIFT], or [Control] using this Add-on to a button on the Orbweaver. I haven't been able to do it using hte WoW add-on.
Razer support confirmed the addon is missing this functionality and put it in the queue as a requested feature. I also asked them to allow disabling of direction key map overlay in game as well.
Hmm. I will look into that though off the top of my head I am not sure if it is possible to using the game's binding system to map just a modifier to it. But I will gladly look into it.
I am having trouble with my Orbweaver. I manually assign the key bindings in the game and then the keys don't repsond. The spells I put into the keypad mod will work if I press the same key that I assigned on the orbweaver on my regular keyboard but will not repsond when pressing the orbweaver keys.
I managed to get around this for all the other Orbweaver default keys by "manually" binding the default keybind for the Orbweaver key with the action bar key mapping.
I am having this same problem. Just intalled the addon. Logged into game. Button bindings do not work (Default bindings - as I have not even tried to do custom yet). I can click on the keyboard WASD keys and everything works and I can even see the graphics highlight on the addon keypad. Press the Orbweaver keypad and nothing happens. When I disable the addon and use keybinds from my own Synapse 2 profile the Orbweaver works fine.
Toddler's response is confusing to me. I tried the manual keybind setting and tried keying the exact same buttons over what was already there by default and still it does not work. Toddler can you please clarify your solution? Thank you.
Addendum: Toddler do you mean to set the addon's keybinds to the same that are already on an action bar somwhere? If that is the solution then why would anyone want to use this addon?
I also would like to see the option for the entire addon to be hidden. If you know what your buttons are then you shouldnt have to look at them on screen.
Thanks
PS. I too want the ability to assign modifier keys within the addon. The whole addon will be useless to me unless I can assign keys on the Orbweaver to be modifier only keys (Alt, Ctrl, Shift). If the game won't allow it then maybe something can be done so the addon releases control of some keys back to the synapse 2 controller so we can bind those modifiers outside of the games limitations.
--- Edit
I fixed my issue with the addon not responding to key clicks. Apparently having a Tartarus and Orbweaver hooked up at the same time is something the addon cannot handle even when it has the drop down selector.
As for the inability to allow for modifier keys - I plan to use Maul's other addon, Ion, to create the bars I need and then map the keybinds I put on the bars to a standard orbweaver profile. I believe they have the option to be hidden too. I can tell Maul put a lot of work into this addon, but I like Ion better.
Thank you for the report, I am looking into it.
If you manually rebind the DPAD and ALT they become unresponsive. At least with a german (QWERTZ) keyboard layout.
Synapse automatically mapped D-Pad and ALT keys in "AddOnProfile" to
UP = PageUp
RIGHT = +
DOWN = PageDown
LEFT = ü
ALT = ^
which was NOT the default layout in the WoW AddOn (except pageup, pagedown) so I had to manually rebind it (I had to rebind other buttons as well). But that was a mistake as well because the D-Pad now is unresponsive. If you move the dpad, the button is highlighted but not triggered.
After reading the comments about the Add On, wil not try it. Been using the N52 then N52te for some years now, loved them. then along came 10.8 (Mac OS) and they don't work anymore (software support, not the devices, as they still work).
So I tried the Tartarus, wasn't real happy with some mechanics. Then tried the Naga, disliked it even more, thus it got returned.
Back to Tartarus - DO NOT LIKE close placement of the "space bar actuator" pad, too close to the overly sensitive joytick. Cannot have either the space getting activated, or more use for me, the Map window. So a functional key on the N52 & N52te is not usable. Working through these issues, told Razer about them, doubt much will happen.
So with this much at issue, why add more problems. ::sigh::
Personally I have had nothing but good luck with their products as they are all still intact after alot of hard usage, and as for the addons, the naga one works great for me and has always, but the keypad one for some reason has glitches on only my druid. all my other toons it works great on.
I am still working on the issue. It is a bit strange. The update however should have copied over your settings.
not sure if the update was supposed to do anything besides wipe out all my settings..... my druid still has the same problem and now it wont show the cd on mangle.
