PhoenixCastBars v0.2.0

This release focuses on stability, polish, and long-term foundation work rather than visible new features. v0.2.0 lays the groundwork for deeper customization coming in the v0.2.x series.

Highlights

• Added an in-game update notification system (DBM / Details–style).
• Improved internal architecture to support upcoming per-bar customization.
• Finalized Blizzard cast bar suppression across all Retail contexts.

Changes

• PhoenixCastBars now broadcasts its version to party, raid, instance, and guild channels.
• If a newer version is detected from another player, a chat message notifies you that an update is available.
• Current addon version is now shown directly in the Blizzard Settings panel.
• Improved handling of Blizzard UI lifecycle events to ensure Blizzard cast bars stay hidden when PhoenixCastBars is enabled.
• Internal refactors in preparation for per-bar appearance overrides and advanced styling options.

Notes

• Update checking is peer-based only (no internet access, no external APIs).
• Notifications are shown once per session to avoid spam.
• Retail-only (11.2.7). Classic clients are not supported.

This version is intended as a stable baseline for the upcoming v0.2.x customization releases.
