Cannot reset Action Bar

Hi There,

I've just installed Move Anything after a long time away from Wow. I've moved a couple of items, but for some reason the Blizzard Action Bars have moved. I've not wanted to move the buttons, and pretty sure I didn't move them by accident but now I can't reset them. If I hit the Reset button, it doesn't do anything. If I go into Move Anything options and select Reset Profile, the Yes button does nothing. I can click No and it'll go back to the previous screen. If I click Reset All the same thing happens. The Yes button does nothing. No errors that I can see.. just doesn't do anything.

Looks like it's not just me. Would hate to have to uninstall, but the message is constant enough to clog my localchat.

Getting same error for BasicActionButtonsMover.  Been away for a week and received message when I returned today 10-26-19

So is this mod abandoned, or will this crap ever be fixed? Is there an alternative to this? I had to uninstall, since it throws those error messages all the time.

I had to delete the settings file in World of Warcraft\_retail_\WTF\Account\xyz\SavedVariables to get rid of this problem. I didnt alter that much so it wasnt much work to restore my settings.

Can confirm Just delete the moveanything.lua and backup in the specific accounts Saved Variables Folder

I'm not sure if anyone is going to see this since the last comment is a couple of months old. I would, however, like to confirm that going into your WoW folder C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAME\SavedVariables and deleting all the MoveAnything files you find fixed the problem for me. No lua error messages anymore..rejoice! Just remember to never touch that Action bar thingamajig again to avoid this in the future. Hope this helps. Peace and long life.

Note - deleting your MoveAnything.lua file will delete all your MoveAnything settings (it would of taken me 30-60 minutes to set everything back up). Instead I managed to fix this by deleting a few lines in the MoveAnything.lua file:

["BasicActionButtonsMover"] = { ["BasicActionButtonsMover"] = { ["orgPos"] = { "BOTTOMLEFT", -- [1] "UIParent", -- [2] "BOTTOMLEFT", -- [3] 581.2381591796875, -- [4] 27, -- [5] }, ["name"] = "BasicActionButtonsMover", ["pos"] = { "BOTTOMLEFT", -- [1] "UIParent", -- [2] "BOTTOMLEFT", -- [3] 726.238037109375, -- [4] 529.5714111328125, -- [5] }, },

I hope this helps someone!

I would like to add that removing the above entry in the config file fixed it for me as well. It's worth noting that the entry may be missing positional data as mine was so if using n++ search for "["BasicActionButtonsMover"] = { " and it will take you right to it. not sure entirely what ui element this affects, I didn't see a change.

Hey,

Thanks guys, I deleted the lines from the 2 Moveanything luas files and the problem is fixed. I can enjoy this add on again <3
