Version 1.3 (Most Recent) - 4.0.1 Release Compatibility Update
With the release of patch 4.0.1, there were several internal bugs that had to be corrected in order for the LootTrain to function correctly. I have since fixed the errors brought about from 4.0.1, so please, enjoy.
You will also notice that I (temporarily) disabled the useless sub tabs in the Raid Manager frame. They will have content some day in the future, but for the moment, are hidden and disabled. Most likely removed from the LootTrain core and added in as plugins later. (No one really needs the functionality they would provide, but it is nice to have sometimes - but not all the time.)
Version 1.2.1a - Bug Fix Release
Fixed several bugs. Added Compatibility Fixes for some frequently used AddOns. Main reason for this sudden release was to address a problem in <Death Group>'s own raiding environment where 1 or 2 of our new recruits could not bid on or see loot in the session due to an addon. This problem has since been addressed.
Also fixed a bug making it so that /rolls made by players with special characters in their name can not be parsed and tracked by LootTrain.
Minor Changes
- A "Roll Session" is a period of time started by the Master Looter that opens an item for rolls. (Via /roll or the Right click interface.) This functionality has been added to the Master Looter's "Award To" interface in both Blizzard and LootTrain sub-frames. Anyone that made a bid for Main Spec or Off Spec will be notified with an in-game message and sound. Their first /roll will be recorded by LootTrain and it will NOT count any duplicate rolls made by any given player. This prevents players from rolling more than once and making it more difficult for the Master Looter.
Only one item may be subject to a Roll Session at a time in order to prevent overlap bugs. These rolls are also shown directly in the Master Looter "Award To" Interface and sort the users from highest to lowest roll to make it easier for them! Multiple items with roll data may be active in the loot session at once, however, only rolls made directly after a roll session is started for a particular item will be recorded for that item. Rolls are also recorded and reviewable later as through the Raid Manager "Distribution History" Interface.
- The Ability to Delete Loot Sessions and individual Data Entries (loot) from the Distribution History frame has been added by right clicking on said frames. Note: The interface also has options for renaming and exporting information though this functionality HAS NOT yet been completed. It is merely a placeholder for the moment.
- Distribution History may now be Summarized By "User Summary". This generates a list of raid members sorted by most items won detailing which items they won and various other useful information about them. "Officer Looooooot!" now has proof if pointed out.
- Color coding for player classes has been added to the Bid and Distribution interfaces in both Blizzard and LootTrain frames. An option to arrange members by their class has been added to the Pass To and Show All interfaces within these menus.
- The normal Distribution History design has changed slightly. See the images posted for Version 1.2.1 for more information regarding these changes.
Other Fixes and Compatibility Checks
- LootTrain is now compatible with Minimap Button Frame. Note: LootTrain's button must be on the ignore list to function correctly. LootTrain will automatically add itself to the addon's Ignore List at start up.
None have been at the moment.
