FasterLoot is a lightweight, non-intrusive AddOn that improves the speed at which you loot containers and corpses. The AddOn has been designed with the intent to be as transparent as possible and will only function when the game Auto Loot conditions are met.
Features
- Lightweight and non-intrusive. Uses minimal run-time memory and works without any configuration.
- Faster looting times. Loot containers and corpses near instantaneously.
- Follows game Auto Loot conditions. It checks both the Auto Loot CVar and Loot Key modifier to ensure that the correct conditions for Auto Looting are met before running.
- Works with Master Loot. Checks are put in place to ensure that it doesn't attempt to loot items that are above or equal to the Loot Threshold when using Master Loot.

For those that are looking for an update to the AddOn, I unfortunately do not have access to the account anymore to post an update and have tried several times to get it sorted out.
As such, I've started a new project to replace this AddOn and it can be found at https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/goloot.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it seems to be the easiest way to get users with an updated version of this AddOn.

Just curious, is there a way to disable or mute the clicky sound it makes when trying to loot? It gets pretty annoying over time.

At the moment there is no way except for disabling your sound to disable or mute the sound. I am working on a new version that will launch shortly after pre-patch and if I am able to, will see if I can implement something to assist (even if it is a work around to toggle sound during loot) with it.
If I am not to get it included in time for the next release, I will definitely have it implemented in the release there after.

As I've not heard anything from support regarding assisting my account, I've uploaded a copy of the latest version Google Drive for those willing to manually download and install it. The latest version can be found here.
FasterLoot 2.02
- Going forward, FasterLoot will make use of Ace3.
- Brought back the requested delay timer from v1.06. This is set to zero by default and will not affect anyone who does not increase it.
- Implemented a Force Auto Loot toggle that disregards game auto loot settings and will always attempt to loot from a container.
- Implemented a free bag slot check that will stop the FasterLoot process when you have one or less open slots.
- You can now change settings through the Interface->Addons menu or by using the /fl slash command.
- A fix for TSM 4 has been implement that allows FasterLoot to work with the TSM Destroy window.
This does not disable FasterLoot anymore like it used to during the TSM Destroy interaction.

By the way, have you considered putting your addons on github? You can do that for now while you wait for your CurseForge account back so those with git can just get whatever changes you commit. That's what I do: https://github.com/AlexFolland?tab=repositories&q=&type=&language=lua
If you do that while you wait, once you get your account back, you can set up a webhook on CurseForge to package your addon automatically whenever you push an alpha/beta/release tag to your github repository. Hi everyone,
This is just to inform everyone. I've lost access to my original Curse/Twitch account (do not have access to the email account for the two factor authentication).
I've submitted a support query several times to Curse/Twitch to try and resolve this but has not received any feedback or response from them for a while now and as such will most likely not be able to update this AddOn anymore.
FasterLoot will be replaced with the release of Shadowlands as a module of a new AddOn suite I am working on which I will post here closer to the release.
At this point the AddOn has already been carried over to the new system and have had various improvements with things such as bringing back the requested delay (optional setting without interfering with users not wanting to use it), adding the available bag slot check as requested as well as a fix to make FasterLoot work with TSM 4.

Sorry to hear that. I'm just another addon developer, but I've mentioned this in the #curseforge channel on the Freenode IRC network, in case any CurseForge staff are available to check out your situation. Hopefully they can investigate and help you get your main account back. Splitting development between multiple accounts would feel very dirty. CurseForge staff have been awesome to me in the past when I wanted my account name changed.
I was noticing the game would freeze up for a second or two as I would just be about to loot. Upon investigating, it seems to be this addon causing it.
Not receiving an lua error, it just causes the game to freeze up, but it gone when I disable this helpful addon.

I dont know if it's just me but anyone else, since 8.2.5 launch, noticing a lot of items not getting looted? Especially hen i open bags i usually have to open them twice, same with herb nodes.

Yes I most definitely noticed this. With mining, I have to mine most of the nodes twice. I also noticed it doesn't combine loot from multiple adds as much as it used too. If i loot too soon it'll especially ignore the loot from the add that just died unless I wait a second (when looting the other add(s) hoping for his to combine with it)
This addon is awesome and is working perfectly for me in Classic. It seems to loot faster than the faster looting in Leatrix Plus.
You add-on is not working for me for some reason. Windows 10 Enterprise (64-bit), Intel Core i7-6700K 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, Twitch client, FasterLoot v2.01.
Any ideas of why? I tried multiple /reload ui commands as well as different servers/characters - doesn't work on any of them.
I would really like to use this so any assistance from the author or people who have left comments is most appreciated.

I would suggest that it not attempt to keep looting slots when "inventory is full".

Hey I think this addon stopped working with 8.0? Item is busy loot no longer gets looted.
