Just got this error after reloadui:
...Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\Addons\PratLite\PratLite.lua:588: bad argument #1 to 'ipairs' (table expected, got nil)stack trace: [C]: in function 'ipairs' ...Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\Addons\PratLite\PratLite.lua:588: in function <...Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\Addons\PratLite\PratLite.lua:580>
Thank you. If this is a one-time event-nothing to worry about. Otherwise, when a permanent error, let me know for sure.
Thanks for this addon! I can't wait for the update where you add more options.
Very good job!I have some suggestions:it would be great if we could choose the color of classes and channels, toggle on/off some sound notifications and maybe add a function to see who mentioned you on the chat :)
"Options" addon over time will be realized. This does not mean that they will appear in the next update. End of the year and now I have enough work in real life. In my spare time I will definitely deal with improvement.
I updated this through the Curse Client and now most of the indicators before text and after the timestamp are in Russian.
I'm positive that it was English before :D.
I have same problem. Noticed this morning that text after timestamp and before text is in Cyrillic (e.g.: Say, Guild, etc)
Excuse me. Head spin. One addon and in multiple languages. Russian localization does not exist in the game, so I have to do all the work twice. That's the confusion occurred.
The problem is solved.

This conflict with the addon ViragsSocial. Fixed in Update December 7, 2015. If you have this problem please let me know.
Very nice, though I too have had the rather odd guild motd so yes glad about a fix in the works. I thought when I read about the theory its links/long message related it might be to do with that PratLiteLink but it occurred even though that was disabled. But it appears to only occur if the Guild MOTD has a URI in, without a website link/etc it doesn't do the spam issue so is link related somehow.
This is most definitely better than the default chat interface (way too much bloat sometimes on that one) but this one could do with some config/settings UI. As although some of the features are nice it would be better if they were entirely optional along with of course being able to customize the colours/etc easily. Or change the abbrievations of channels, etc, all without needing to edit the lua/etc.
Also there appears to be some sort of clash between this and ViragsSocial, with that enabled it seems to bypass or disable the chat features of this addon, but with this enabled ViragsSocial interface window constantly reappears due to its nearby/etc scan feature. After checking further, turns out its because ViragsSocial disables the default Who thus causing conflicts.
<p> if wh == nil then<br /> wh = Apollo.GetAddon("ViragsSocial")<br /> end<br />[/code]
below the line: local wh = Apollo.GetAddon("Who")
in the initializehooks function and it worked, though it did come up with an error about "self:HelperResetUI()" but other than that it seemed to work fine with both addons enabled.
I don't see any other chat/ui/etc addons clashing (least none of the ones I use anyways) which is great. :-)
All in all, really liking this so far, so much nicer to look at that some of the other chat related addons out there and completely better than the default style. Great work!
Thanks for the comment. Soon will update addon on site where your comments will be taken into account. Guild, as the link is a side effect of my experiments with references Nickname in the chat. If you wrap the text of two words in characters < and >, example: <My Guild>, this will be perceived as a Link. My fault, that I forgot to disable this when placed on the addon site. Ingenious players noticed my gaffe and started to use it.
First of all i gotta say i love this addon keep up the good work.
As always .. BUT :D
i have a few issues; one is maybe related to links / long messages
This is what Guild ads look to me and i dont know why ..
furthermore i'd like to disable a few features because i don't need or use them one is the bar and the other one is the path icons. is that possible?
and another thing i'd like to see is the possibility to change the background color. I know there are other addons out there, but i cant get em to work with yours :/
Thanks for the good review. Addon was created for me and my friends. Therefore, the settings in the plans was not. This is at the request of the familiar addon was posted for general use. If the addon will receive massive popularity-then I shall make every effort to make the settings not only common, but also for individual cases.
Now about your problems:
Sometimes, if one message multiple identical references - they are not taken into account, as it seems to me - it's not scary, there is a similar reference in the message, and you can click it. Over time, this problem will be solved.
Yet, if there is a strong desire to change something in the settings-will tell you a couple of Secrets: Open in Noterpad ++ - file PraitLite.lua
>To disable the icon path: Find the line 774
strPathToIcon = tPathToIcon[infoPlayer.p]
strPathToIcon = ""
>To change the color channels - Find the line 57. Example:
Change the line <local YellColor = "ffc4004a"> (Yell) - "ffc4004a". The first sign of <ff> 2 leave unchanged. Go to the link . Select the desired colour, say green. To the left of the frame with color written #00FF00. Skip the <#> symbol, the remaining characters add in <ff>, It turns out "ff00ff00". The end result of such a string: <local YellColor = "ff00ff00">
>Similarly, you can change the channel names - Find the line 20.
thanks for the quick response and good to hear you are working on a fix :)
I think this addon will gain quite a lot of popularity as it is the best chat addon as it is, so i hope you improve it even more :)
Thanks for telling me the tricks, i will try it out immediately.
