Whenever a Holiday shows up, it always catches me off guard. My sims are never prepared for it and it always ends up being more stress than anything. I've always wished time moved a little slower on holidays to compensate, but that breaks the game. So what can you do?

The Happy Holidays tradition will slow ALL Sims' motive decay while your Holiday is active!

Since this is a Holiday Tradition, that means it's entirely optional and not automatically assigned to any holiday situation. You can choose when and where it actually applies.

While the moodlet is active your needs will drop much slower than normal, allowing time for food and fun! Please note that this also makes them FILL slower, so these activities can last longer. This also means that whatever motives are low when the holiday starts will take longer to fill, too. I think this mimics how when you're trying to get ready for a fun day it can be frustrating to feel like it's taking so long to shower, cook, etc.
