This has been a long time coming.  Freakin' finally.  I finally figured out how to make Sims with Mannequin heads that don't rely on CC!  I have been trying on and off for years to get this to work.  Yes, I know there are CC heads (I made a set).  Yes, I know the black and white abstract ones are available (made through a glitch).  But I wanted all of them CC-free, mod-free.  

First off, yes.  That's me.  I changed my ID ages ago and can't change it back.  I changed it in my account, but it doesn't reflect in game.  What can you do?

Anyway, how did I do it?  An old version of the game to replicate that infamous glitch perhaps?  No, that didn't work out.  Neither did trying to edit CAS.  No the way that worked was, by far, the easiest.  A mod!  I figured I'd swap out the actual Sims heads with the settings for Mannequin heads and vice versa.  There were a couple of glitches in this journey.  For some reason child Sims didn't display their heads at all for the basegame mannequins.  But after saving and realoading the Sims after a restart they displayed properly.  

I tried this before, but it didn't work out.  Maybe I didn't set everything properly?  Because it worked out now!  Oh, and before you ask, werewolf heads on human sims and dog heads on cats are nightmare fuel.  Didn't get the human heads to show up on a werewolf body, but even if I did they'd probably be bugged out too.
