Victorian gas lights - chandeliers and wall sconce

Description

Gas lighting was used since the late 18th century, but it wasn't until around the middle of the 19th century that most homes were hooked up to a reticulated ("piped") system. The Industrial Revolution meant that technology was constantly improving, and the Victorians used a mixture of candles, oil lamps, and gas to light their homes.

A relatively low pressure, the gas piped into homes was connected to pipes in walls and ceilings, connecting to lamps, both simple and elaborately decorated. All you needed to do was turn the tap ("turn on the light"), and ignite the gas.

Here I present a set of gas lights, perfect for the Victorian home: Tall, and Medium height chandeliers with 3, 6, and 12 flames; as well as a single wall sconce.

Included in the set is also the "Helpful step-stool", to help one reach the lights in order to ignite the gas; as well as a box of matches.

Lights have 7 swatches, step-stool has 10, matches have 1. The Step Stool has three levels with lots of slots for deco items.
