Description

Press F8 to enter photo mode, wasd+ctrl+space to move, all the other controls are visible while in photo mode. Additional camera/post processing settings aren't available rn but might get added later. Screenshots are saved in [UserDir]\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\Screenshots\Windows.

Settings

Since version 1.0.7 this mod uses mod config menu for the settings.

Multiplayer

On older versions of REUE4SS you might need to press the insert key after joining a multiplayer game to load the mod. You don't need to install the mod on the server.

Installation

  1. If you dont have REUE4SS installed: Download REUE4SS and extract it in [PalworldInstallPath]\Pal\Binaries\Win64 (newer/experimental versions of reue4ss should work as well, but aren't tested)
  2. Edit Pal\Binaries\Win64\Mods\mods.txt . Change the 0 behind BPModLoaderMod to 1.
  3. Edit Pal\Binaries\Win64\UE4SS-settings.ini. Change the line bUseUObjectArrayCache = true to bUseUObjectArrayCache = false. (This helps against crashes)
  4. Download the mod and extract the .zip file in [PalworldInstallPath]\Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods.
  5. Install Mod Config Menu (at least version 1.4, it looks like the version on curseforge is outdated so I added a nexus mods link).

Known bugs

  • The game sometimes gets really laggy and stops responding to some inputs after flying far away (like half the map size away) from the player in photo mode.
