Description

Programmer Art x Fresh Animations (Fresh Programmer Animations) is an addon resource pack that makes Programmer Art compatible with Fresh Animations (duh). It also comes with an extention pack, which supports the Fresh Animations extension pack! (see the intended order of active packs in the bottom of the page)

Info

This pack doesn't aim to retexture any of the mobs added in the newer versions of the game so that they match the aesthetic of Programmer Art, unless they resemble or have a connection to already existing mobs from 1.13 and prior (e.g: Villagers). Instead, this resource pack and it's extension pack aim to edit the textures of entities from Programmer Art so that they can be properly animated by Fresh Animations.

Notable Changes

•  Fully retextured Villagers! (See full changelog for more info)

•  You can now rename regular Slimes to "Slamaslime" to get the Slime from the Slamacow addon or find them appearing naturally! (Extension pack)

•  Creeper variations resembling the Creeper(s) from "Revenge" by CaptainSparklez! Regular creepers can be renamed to "Aww man" and "Creeper?! Aww man" to get the creeper variants. You can also find them appearing naturally, though very rarely! (Extension pack)

Known Issues: Bat models broken in 1.20.3+ due to changes made to the bat model.

ZOMBIE VILLAGER:
- zombie_villager.png retextured (matches 1.14.4+ colors, legs are overlapped textures of all the zombie villagers, head and arms are from "zombie_villager" files from zombie and zombie_villager folders.
- profession textures resemble actual old zombie_villagers (including eyes and the raised eyebrow *BOMBASTIC SIDE EYE VINE BOOM EFFECT hehe)
- type changes:
  DESERT:  Retextured to resemble Husk (matches 1.14.4+ desert Villager colors)
  JUNGLE:  NO CHANGES
  PLAINS:  USE OLD TEXTURE (from "zombie_villager" folder, not "zombie" folder)(green outfit repurposed for Nitwit)
  SAVANNA: NO CHANGES
  SNOW:    Retextured legs (legs match 1.14.4+ snow Villager colors)
  SWAMP:   Retextured legs (legs match 1.14.4+ swamp Villager colors)
  TAIGA:   Retextured legs (legs match 1.14.4+ taiga Villager colors)

OTHER:

BOAT:
- Boats retextured.

CHEST_BOAT:
- Chest boats retextured.

CREEPER:
- Creeper has old texture, creeper2 and creeper 3 have face variants with red eyes resembling the creeper(s) from "Revenge" by CaptainSparklez. Each variant has a 1 in 100 chance of spawning. Regular creepers can be renamed to "Aww man" and "Creeper?! Aww man" to get the creeper variants.

IRON_GOLEM:
- Golem vine overlay removed.

PIG:
- Pig3 now has a rose on his head.

SHEEP:
- Sheep ears retextured once again to match the old textures while keeping the new FA style.

SPIDER:
- Spiders and cave spiders don't have the FA extention animations. (model name changed)

CHICKEN:
- Chicken variants tweaked.

CHEST
- Chests retextured.

COW:
- Cow tails retextured to match old textures, Brown Mooshroom retextured.

CREEPER:
- Creeper has old texture, creeper2 and creeper 3 have face variants with red eyes resembling the creeper(s) from "Revenge" by CaptainSparklez.

HORSE:
- Horses have old textures, except for the saddles (there are a few inconsistencies with SOME of the leg textures, due to how the leg models were changed, but they should not be noticeable)

IRON_GOLEM:
- Golem vine overlay added while having no texture changes of the golem itself (gives a more overgrown look)

PIG:
- Pig variants have old textures, pig ears retextured to match old textures.

SHEEP:
- Sheep ears retextured to match old textures.

SLIME:
- Slimes can be renamed to "Slamaslime" to get the slime from the Slamacow addon. Also, it now has a 1 in 50 percent spawn chance, istead of replacing the vanilla slime.

SPIDER:
- Spiders and cave spiders don't have the extention animations.

VILLAGER:
- Villager and villager2 have identical textures.

ZOMBIE_VILLAGER:
- Zombie_villager and zombie_villager2 have identical textures.

ZOMBIE:
- zombie2 (Dave) has original textures, while zombie2_moredetail is a variant you can enable which has the outfit from FA Extensions.

CHICKEN:
- Chicken and chicken variants blink again and have 1px eyes. Chicken variants have old textures.

GUARDIAN:
- Guardian fins retextured to match old textures.

GUARDIAN_ELDER:
- Elder guardian fins retextured to match old textures.
