In reply to jakey1995abc:
i tried all of the things above, could this be a forge issue?
In reply to Forge_User_20588026:
My guess would be its caused by sound device options mod. if you want you could try deleting that and see if it fixes the issue? It should be located under:
C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAME}\Twitch\Minecraft\Instances\Quality Of Life (QOL)\mods\sounddeviceoptions-1.2.1.jar
In reply to jakey1995abc:
I installed a fresh version of the pack and deleted the mod immediately but it still doesnt work i looked through the logs and it said this
[Client thread/WARN] [minecraft/SoundEngine]: Missing sound for event: minecraft:ambient.cave
But then for alot of sounds
In reply to Forge_User_20588026:
Found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/5fek08/minecrfat_no_sound/
Sounds like the issue could be caused by outdated sound drivers, outdated os, or a bad installation of Minecraft. Have you tried other modpacks through the twitch launcher and do they have the same issue? If yes then reinstalling Minecraft for Twitch could fix this issue.
1.0.8 is out now! Make sure that if you update, you report any issues you find in the comments section here and I'll try my best to fix them :)
EDIT: File is still not approved yet so please wait, should only take a few hours until it is available to download.
Next update might take a while. The latest forge version broke most mods but added optifine support (so it is not all bad news). But this means quite a few mods might get removed with the next modpack update unless the devs update their mods.
hey guys. im new to the whole modpack thing. where and how do I put and activate this modpack
In reply to Forge_User_73002397:
download the twitch app from https://www.twitch.tv/downloads install it and configure minecraft within the twitch app. It should be under "mods" submenu. Then search for modpacks and it is as simple as clicking install for any modpack you want to play
In reply to jakey1995abc:
I tried this but it says "Game Crashed", something about an unexpected issue :(
I'm using the newest version of your pack, fresh install/no other mods. What could cause this?
I'm probably just being blind, I am looking for the mod/keys for the excavation of trees/ores. I can single chop trees (90% of the time) but ores aren't working and I don't see a key-bind or what mod it would be? Not sure why, but I have heavy lag while playing this pack. However, I can play with a list of mods of about dbl of what this pack has with no lag issues. ?
Thanks
In reply to slickrip:
I think the mod I have in this modpack is only for chopping down trees (for added realism). Is the lag constant or does it only occur during certain situations (for example during explosions)? And what are you PC's specs? This will help me narrow down the possible cause of the lag and fix it.
In reply to jakey1995abc:
Hey Jake,
Thanks for the reply. That's cool on the vein miner, just didn't know if it was me or what. As for the lag, after some future testing, it would seem that all modpacks through twitch are lagging really bad for me. I have tried adjusting the allocated mem but it doesn't stick when I launch. I suppose I will have to do some further investigating to see if I can get it to work for me.
Thanks
Hi! Been using this pack and love the convenience. One problem, I'm experiencing a crash whenever I try to interact with a fox, so far either when I try to use the leash or feed them sweet berries. Haven't experienced this with wolves, I've yet to run into many other animals in my current seed.
In reply to DismissedClaim:
Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into this when I get the time and see if I can fix it.
i keep getting a normal crash error please look into this
In reply to lucidhitsshots:
What version of the modpack are you using? When does the crash occur? What error/log does the crash provide you with?
inventory sorter isnt working correctly the scroll part works but the actual sorting part doesnt
Anyway we can get a server pack for this?
In reply to CaptPirate:
You shouldn't really need a server pack for this as I aim to have mostly client sided mods (so that it works with any vanilla servers on the same version of Minecraft). But I will look into creating a server pack for this modpack if necessary once mods become more stable for 1.14+
In reply to jakey1995abc:
A server pack would be really nice. This pack works wonderfully in single player, and most of the stuff works on a vanilla server but many mods lose some functionality like fast leaf decay, inventory sorting, etc. Right now I am trying to compile a server pack so my friend and I can play on a private server and it is driving me insane trying to find the few mods that are actually compatible with a server to put them on.
