Phase 0: Decline

Once upon a time, the world lived by the rules of logic and calculation.
Technology reached a level that we previously considered science fiction: autonomous power grids, nanostructured composites, bio-coded medicine, weapons with adaptive configurations. Humanity controlled the elements and, in essence, rewrote the fundamental laws of the biosphere to suit its own needs.

And then something happened that no forecast or simulation had predicted.

First contact.
Anomalous protein-silicate organisms, later classified as a parasitic life form of class SP. Their structure was so atypical that standard scanners considered them geological formations.

They did not attack — they analyzed.
Infection occurred at the molecular bond level; immune systems did not recognize the threat because the parasite used natural mechanisms of cellular communication.

People did not die — they became biological nodes, parts of the parasite's collective intelligence.

In 9 months, 93% of the population disappeared.
The army fell. The monitoring servers fell silent.
And so did civilization.

Phase 1: Parasitic rupture

But the parasite's victory was not final.
Its bio-intelligence developed so rapidly that an internal evolutionary conflict arose. Secondary forms of the parasite began to compete with the primary ones.

This caused bio-reversion—a process in which the system degrades back to less stable structures. The parasite lost control, left the surface, and retreated into the deep geoplastics, falling into a state of prolonged stasis.

Humanity was almost wiped out.
But not completely destroyed.

Phase 2: Awakening the Remnants

Year: 221-P (the year after the fall).
In an abandoned complex, the protocol
“new generation” self-activated.

We woke up — a group of people with no memory, suffering from severe cognitive amnesia. Our knowledge was scattered in fragments: snippets of instructions, drawings, technical notes, and broken archives.

The systems were damaged, the automation was partially destroyed, and most of the information was irretrievably lost.

Our first task was simple — to survive.
But it quickly became clear:
we have to rebuild the world. And finish what the previous ones didn't have time to do.

Phase 3: Reconstruction

We started with the simplest things:

restored local generators from the remains of old systems;

organized the extraction of rare earth materials;

recreated basic metallurgy;

created tools with variable molecular rigidity;

restored the first industrial nodes.

Gradually:

we launched plasma arc prototypes;

we created energy stabilizers;

we assembled portable micro reactors;

we set up laboratories for the synthesis of anti-biological compounds.

We were no longer just “survivors.”
We were becoming a new generation of techno-humans.

Phase 4: Contact II

Deep echolocation sensors detected movement again.
At a depth of over 60 geoplasts, the parasitic arrays became active.

The parasite awoke.
But it no longer resembled its original form — it was an intermediate structure between biological tissue and something resembling “molten information matrices.” It had adapted. It had evolved.

It remembers humanity.
And perhaps it has learned to imitate us.

Project “REBIRTH”

We found a record in the archives:
“REBIRTH is not salvation. Not escape. Purification.”

It was humanity's last plan:

to rebuild knowledge from scratch;

to go through technological evolution once again;

to find and destroy the parasitic life form of the SP class;

to block the possibility of its reappearance.

Phase 5: Goal

Now we must:

1. Create a completely autonomous scientific and industrial cycle.

2. Study the remains of parasites and compile an accurate classification.

3. Develop technology for anomalous immersion into deep geospheres.

4. Create a weapon capable of affecting the parasite at the neurowave level.

5. Complete the cleansing by initiating an internal explosive collapse of the parasite's core — even if it destroys us.
