Is there no ME Controller or do i need to unlock it first somehow?
In reply to Maniac2323
Im Pretty sure controllers as well as channels are disabled, so it behaves like AE1 I believe.
In reply to we177524:
oh okay, havent played with AE1 so i guess i need to check some old tutorials how it worked.
In reply to Maniac2323:
I believe it works the same as ae2, except no need to worry about how many channels your devices are using. I will say, despite channels being a pain in the butt, it was super satisfying to get a 8x8 panel array connected up properly
Channels are disabled in this pack, so the controller is unnecessary. Just use the power supply and you're all good!
I played some hours during 3 days in the modpack, i like it but there are some bugs with the LV machines, i built 2 steam dynamos with the 2fuel upgrade, i connected it with gregtech cables to the CEUor F idk (convert RF to EU) and i connected the ceu with 4x iron conductive pipes and then to the LV machines, this setup should obviously work, i added nothing else which can interferate with the cables, machines, etc... first it doesn't worked, i tried to enable/disable with hammer, and rebuilt it in creative and it worked, so i gave me some sodium to do 4 reusable small batteries and it worked in survival then, the batteries accumulated EU fine but sometimes it doesn't worked until i reactivate the dynamos even with a lot of EU stored in the batteries. Ok that's not a big problem but now i'm stucked with the electrolizer, it doesn't work, i filled 2 batteries with 80000 EU, i tried to put them directly in the machine, i tried to put more material inside like a lot of water or 42 lazurite dust, i really followed the step in the carfting process menu but it still doesn't work and i doesn't have any biproduct in the macerator too even if i set this to eject product and connected a chest at it's back. I might have missed something but i think i don't need to send you some screen of the setup because i think its actually a bug so i might just end the modpack….
Sigh i hate AE2 autocrafting i can never get it to work. Im trying to get a simple system set up but go figure Ae2 refuses to do anything its god damn soussped to. Anyone else have an issue where you cant get the autocrafting system to work? im trying to get anything to come out of my system via interface but its not working and i cant figure out why. :/
Edit: So ive got it workling for the most part but for some reason its not pulling the finished circuits from my assembly machine? am i missing something or doing it all wrong?

Make sure you've got the machine outputting to the interface. You'll need to wrench it to the correct side, then hit the button with the orange box + arrow in the machine's interface to get it to auto-output. If you're inputting and outputting from the same side (i.e. to and from a directly attached interface), you'll also want to hit the output side with a screwdriver so it can accept inputs.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for passive silicon production..getting to the point of need it and its killing me not having a soild way to produce it except random dusts/stone dusts.
If you're in a lost cities world mine up lots of "Terracotta"/Hardened Clay which is what they're made out of. It's not passive, but macerating that and then processing the clay dust is a fine, easy solution.
cobblegen -> gravel -> sand
8 sand in an electrolyzer gives 1 silicon dioxide
3 silicon dioxide in an electrolyzer gives 1 silicon + 2b oxygen.
couple gen > gravel > sand > dust > chemical reactor with water gives you clay > clay dust gives you lithium, aluminium, silicon, and sodium
In reply to drako60:
I would personally go with this solution as, it will produce clay which can be used for both silicon and deep mob learning to make that porceline clay thingy
As with most things in GTCE, it gets easier as you advance, but here's a typical progression:
* Start off by electrolyzing clay dust.
- Protip: You can get clay dust by pulverizing all the Terracotta that the buildings in the Lost Cities worldtype are built with. This makes it an early game easily accessible resource.
* You can electrolyze Silicon Dioxide, which has the byproduct of being Oxygen generation. Silicon Dioxide has a few ways to get it:
- 8 Sand electrolyzes into Silicon Dioxide.
- 1 Flint Dust electrolyzes into Silicon Dioxide (pulverize Flint)
- 3 Stone Dust centrifuges into 2 Silicon Dioxide. Stone dust can be obtained by Macerating Stone (not Cobblestone), thus is renewable.
So it is your choice, if you want to macerate cobble into sand and electrolyze that, or if you want to smelt it into Stone then macerate that for a better return. Either way, it's not too hard for passive production.
Don't update servers to 1.2.0 or they will crash a lot wait for further update which includes update or rollback of Adv Rocketry.
What is the trick to getting the void dimension to work on servers?
I'm just being dumb or what.I got to the point were I can build modular machines, but I cant find any recipes for get the actual blueprints, for the machines. And as far as I know you need to put the bp into the controller for the machine to work.Any help?
In reply to Narsa10
Last I knew the blueprints weren't needed for modular machines. If you assemble the multipart correctly it the structure should change color I believe.
Hey, I just want to thank you for spending so much time on this pack. I've been playing it for around 5 days now (Was waiting for the server network I play on to host it). I've been having a blast with the first time playing with GregTech.
I've just got one request. I'm solar based and so are a couple others, but for the most part people are magmatic based and most of the time people don't sleep. As you know the solars aren't the best for power. I use 32 Tier V solars (2048rf/t) and that keeps up with my MV stuff during the day, but my buffer of 8M can't really keep me up during the night. I'm looking into increasing that, but I'd like to ask if Morpheus would be a potential mod to add?
There is an overlap in crafting recipes for sapphire ore and cobaltite ore using the coins.
