Oh and BTW, I can't craft tin rings by hand at the moment, so my questing is currently stuck.

I just downloaded the last beta (Omnifactory 0.8.2) to see if GregTech stops crashing (I think it should be better now), and ran into an issue with OpenGL, it seems like it doesn't detect that I have OpenGL 3.3 available (it's an Intel Integrated CPU, and has support up to 4.0) and the faulty mod was LambdaLib. I removed LambdaLib and everything is working fine now!
Anyway, I really like the updates! The caving system is insanely awesome! The only annoyance I may have is the Blur mod which is a bit taxing (it slows down everything when I open a GUI), so I just usually configure it to radius 0. But other than that, it's very fun, as I am now crafting calculating everything :D
I'm doing the Gallium quest right now, and I have the basic electrolyzer and the proper amount of sphalerite, but I can't get the tiny piles of gallium. In JEI, there are 2 recipes both using an electrolyzer and 2 sphalerite dust. The first one requires an MV electrolyzer, and the second recipe (the one I CAN use) isn't working. Basically, it's impossible for me to get the gallium needed.

There is a problem can not get magnesium dust there is no recipe for it. I checked in creative and there's not a full dust and I have tons of small piles that I can't do anything with.

good mp so far! keep it up, and tnx for fix copper ore bug:)
The quest for Red Alloy wire appears to be broken, having a item placeholder instead of the actual item
In reply to Fayte1991:
FYI the lower tier distillery are missing. Only one there are EV and up. Also pulsing wire can not be crafted.
Great Modpack BTW
I'm looking forward playing your modpack.
I have two questions:Is there any reason for the starter bonus with full armor, tools, torches and food?
Also, is there any plans for a upcoming discord server especially for this mod pack as a community?I've deleted Dynamic Trees and I hope it doesn't bother the progress. :)

Hey, any chance of putting Just Enough Calculations in? I just find annoying having to go back and go back and go back to the same machines to craft stuff, I prefer doing it all at once before in a text editor and then crafting stuff in the game, and searching for a solution, I think that mod does that process much better.
Having tons of fun with this pack, I like the attention to detail like for the ContentTweaked custom wires!
Could you point out that Sphalerite is only available on the Nether (and maybe gate behind obsidian or a visit to the Nether, who knows), I spent some time looking for it only to find that info in the GregTech wiki later :P
I'm also having a hard time finding Tetrahedrite in the overworld, and now I'm a bit blocked by a quest that requires it, so maybe allow Nether Tetrahedrite as well?
I'm slowly working towards Gallium, and I by accident I actually did it correctly by first crushing the ore via hammer, but I don't know if it's clear to a newbie if they can do that, and that they will get different dusts if they don't, overall, I think Centrifuges could be better explained in this regard.
Overall, I really like the progression. And by the way, is there anything special behind ore colors in the scanner? It feels like they are a bit random on my search for diamonds...
Great to hear! I'm planning to add Zinc veins (which contain Sphalerite) to the overworld before release, but I don't want to change oregen during the beta. You can get by with buying the Sphalerite/Tetrahedrite with coins or mining it in the nether for now.
I changed Gallium to a 100% drop rate (instead of 25%) from Sphalerite electrolysis in 0.5, which should help a lot. The quest should be better explained though, I agree.
The Ore Scanner's colors are just whatever the vanilla options are for the mod, I haven't played with them. There definitely is some correlation (green for emerald, red for redstone) but for the most part, its just showing you where the veins are so you can mine to them more easily.
