Hexxit Updated
A refreshing adventure for 1.12.2
Hexxit Updated is a modpack based around the roots of the original Hexxit. With mods compiled to bring back the Hexxit feeling whilst adding more content. Mods have been reshuffled here and there because of the availability and the changing game-style in the modern versions of Minecraft. The modpack is reaching its final stages of maintenance due to the ending of the 1.12.2 lifecycle.

BisectHosting is the preferred host of Hexxit Updated. To purchase a server, click on this link and use the code HSMC to get 25% off on your first month!
The plan that you require depends on the amount of players, but I recommend a plan with at least 3GB RAM to run Hexxit Updated smoothly.
Features
- A variety of cherry-picked mods which adds dimensions with mobs and structures.
- Diamonds are as common as Iron, in respect to original Hexxit
- Recurrent Complex adds many dungeons in the overworld to explore and conquer
- Foamfix, BetterFPS and VanillaFix are included to increase performance
- Classic Combat brings back the old spam-click fighting style for the joy of all players. (Note: The animations are still there, but are irrelevant)

System Requirements
Hexxit Updated is a fairly light modpack with less than 70 mods in it's arsenal. The minimum requirement for RAM allocation is 2GB. With some tinkering with some JVM arguments, you may be able to run Hexxit Updated on an older computer.
Not to mention Optifine. Optifine is not allowed to be added in modpacks directly, but you are able to add them yourself. This is highly recommended as it boosts FPS by a significant margin and adds the zoom feature which is neat.
Minimum Requirements:
Operating System: 64bit
Ram: 4GB

I tried giving the jar file more ram from the server download you gave and it won't allow me to give the server more ram at all, and I as i hosted it the people i was doing it for were all lagging due to not enough allocated ram was wondering how to give a jar more ram since it looks like things have changed?

Good work, I'm trying to bring an unofficial version of Hexxit for Minecraft 1.7.10. It is a lot easier because the vast majority of mods that existed for Hexxit 1.5.2 exist in Minecraft 1.7.10, it would only be missing the mods Asgard Shields, that is replaceable, and the Mod Harken Scythe.

I'm hoping to play this mod, but it crashes every time.
Is there any way I can get it to work?
Thank you in advance.
In reply to MyF00TFellAsleep:
Thanks for making this pack!
I did have a few issues, though:
The server pack has two mods not in the client version: RottenFleshintoLeather and the OreTweaker. I had to take them from the server pack and manually add them to my client in order to connect.
Otherwise, great fun. Thanks again.

I'm sorry to people who commented here, I use minecraft.curseforge.com, and these comments didn't appear there. To whoever has issues, go to minecraft.curseforge.com this modpack issues tab.
Hey man I remember Chocolatequest dungeons in the old hexxit (now called better dungeons) but its only for older versions could you port it forward because those dungeons were amazing
In reply to Simonj000:
i loved hexxit, lets try this out. You should add mousetweaks (but disable the rmbtweak in the config SINCE ITS STUPID). also moreoverlays.
JEI feels lack lustered compared to the good old NEI.
