Weapon Master of Life - Enchantments and Further Enhancements
Overview
This is an addon mod for Weapon Master. It removes the hard-coded limitations of the original mod, allowing weapons to reach their true potential. It introduces infinite leveling, enchantment compatibility, and crucial bug fixes for high-level gameplay.
Key Features
1. Enchanting Unlocked Weapons are no longer restricted from being enchanted. You can now apply standard enchantments such as Sharpness, Looting, Mending, and Unbreaking via the Enchanting Table or Anvil. The mod also prevents the original "Curse Removal" mechanic from wiping your added enchantments.
2. Infinite Growth System The level cap is effectively removed.
- Lv 0 - 100: Follows the original logarithmic progression curve.
- Lv 100+: Switches to a fixed-cost linear progression (10,000 XP per level).
- Scaling: Damage and Attack Speed continue to grow indefinitely. At Level 10,000, weapons reach approximately 65x their base power.
3. High-HP Mob Support & XP Items To support the infinite grind, this mod adds new XP items (Shards, Scrolls, Cores) that drop from mobs based on their Max Health.
- Designed for modpacks with high-health enemies (e.g., Apotheosis, L2 Hostility).
- The tougher the enemy, the better the XP item dropped.
4. Apotheosis Compatibility
- Fixed an issue where reforging or gem application would reset the weapon's name and data.
- Weapons now retain their custom names, rarity, and affixes perfectly.
5. Combat & Animation Fixes
- No Damage Cap: Removes the "invulnerability frame" issue, allowing high attack speed weapons to register every hit.
- Crash Fix: Fixed a
StackOverflowErrorthat occurred when rendering tooltips for weapons with extremely high levels.
Configuration Recommendations
For the best experience, we recommend updating the weaponmaster-common.toml config file:
