VoxelMap is a minimap and worldmap mod that makes a great effort to be accurate to the colors you see in the world (and your resource pack). Display your surroundings, or view the entire (explored) world.
It has useful functionality like per-dimension waypoints, mob icons, teleport to waypoint (if the player has permission), and nether mapping. Optional chunk grid and biome overlay (with biome labels in full screen mode)
Full internationalization support, with many languages included.
Go here https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/voxelmap/files to make sure you get the right version for your version of Minecraft!
1.12.2, 1.13.2, 1.14.4, 1.15.2 and 1.16.1 have Forge releases. Additionally, 1.12.2 and below have versions for Liteloader. 1.13 has a release for Rift. 1.13.2 has a release that should work with this version of Rift. 1.14 through 1.16.1 are also available for Fabric.
VoxelMap can optionally output image files to your drive, to be used with the Voxelmap Image Output Processor. To output images, open voxelmap.properties and add this line: Output Images:true . Then run Minecraft. That line will disappear before your next run,so if you wish to do it again, add the line again

Forgive me if this issue is already been made aware of, but I am currently having issue with the 1.15.2 Forge version 1.19.18. I recently switched over from the Fabric version and I noticed that the icon for Bees use a light blue sheep icon on the radar, and even weirder is that armor stands create even more issues. When placed in the world the radar icons will do either one or more of various things:
1) The light blue sheep radar icon that is supposed to be the bee will turn into an armor stand icon,
2) The armor stand will receive the bee icon,
3) Some bees will be have armor stand icons while some bees will have the light blue sheep icon,
I first thought it had something to do with my installation of forge on top of my installation of fabric, so I completely deleted my .minecraft folder to start over and do a fresh installation of both forge and voxelmap. No other mods installed and on a brand new world. This did not solve the issue, has anyone else experienced this?
Also I tried disabling both armor stands and bees to be included in the radar but the icons persisted, almost as if the mod is not recognizing them correctly.
This issue occurs on both Forge 31.1.63 (the version that Optifine supports at this moment, where I first noticed the issue) and Forge 31.1.74 (the latest version of Forge at this moment).
Same here (Forge 31.1.77 and OptiFine 1.15.2 HD U G1 pre16).
why is there no forge 1.15.2 version??
nvm im dumb
In reply to thesuperrex8395:
not at all! I need to update the description. But yeah, the file list is always the authoritative source for which versions exist or not :)
I apologize if this has already been posted, but I have a new issue with VoxelMap + Optifabric/Optifine.
When I first load a world, it will show all the entities on the minimap, but after a few minutes of playing it will show the "OpenGL Error 1281" and stop showing all mods on the radar (except the bee for some reason)
I've tried adjusting various settings in Optifine & Voxel, tried various versions of Optifine, but it's the same result.
The only "fix" is to remove optifine and voxel and the mobs will show up on the radar again, but I don't remember having this issue on 1.15.2 before.
Just wondering if anyone else has this issue? Thanks
Previous version still works. Here's download link (Mod author has taken it down from CurseForge): https://storage.googleapis.com/vanilla-tweaks/fabricmodVoxelMap-1.9.16for_1.15.2.jar.

*probable issue found and fixed
try downloading latest file for 1.15.2, should fix your issue. thanks for the report
In reply to MamiyaOtaru:
Thanks, it works perfect now!
The 1.12.2 Forge version crashes the game before the window opens with "Mixin config mixins.voxelmap.json requires mixin subsystem version 0.7.8 but 0.7.5 was found. The mixin config will not be applied." and "org.spongepowered.asm.launch.MixinInitialisationError: Required mixin config mixins.voxelmap.json requires mixin subsystem version 0.7.8"
In reply to Forge_User_45961608:
you have another mod that bundles an older version of mixin that is overwriting the one bundled with VoxelMap. If you can figure out which one that is, you can probably get them to run together by removing the org/spongepowered folder from the other mod's jar
Ideally that other mod would bundle a newer version of mixinHi, I'm using your 20w18a version, and the map look a little weird... It has all of the weird black lines on it. Is there a way to fix it?

In reply to Forge_User_03663195:
you apparently loaded that world in snapshot 20w17a. You've been bitten by a vanilla bug. https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MC/issues/MC-179858?filter=recentlyviewed
If you use a regular Minecraft map item you'll see the same issue.
The fix is described on that page: Optimize World, with Clear Cache checked.
I'm having an issue where i crash to desktop if i try joining a single player world. It works just fine on Multiplayer however. i have a log of what i think contains the issue i am having.
Never mind the issue was my fabric api was rather outdated, it now works on singleplayer and multiplayer.
ik i'm probably being dumb- but when I opened my world when using this for the first time there's a menu that pops up- and I don't know how to get rid of it. Help?
In reply to radiatorboi:
at the bottom of that menu it should say something like "press Z to close". And pressing that should close it. If not, well that's a bug
In reply to MamiyaOtaru:
thanks i figured it out :D
Love this mod, it has quickly become a required mod for me.
Quick suggestion: Change TP command to include dimension so you can get to Waypoints from anywhwere.
/execute in <overworld|the_nether|the_end> run tp <target> <location>
Thanks for your hard work, love it!
