The Monster Manual of Minecraft!
Various Oddities provides a colourful and diverse selection of mobs to populate your world, complete with config and customisation options to fine tune them for regular play or for adventure maps!
With a diverse and colourful array of mobs, you're sure to find the world far more alive and certainly far more dangerous, so Various Oddities also comes with a plethora of new and expanded gameplay features to help you keep pace with the velociraptors munching on your chickens. Invest in early-game alchemical brews with the alembic, hold off the hordes of undead with a quick holy symbol, and terrorise the local village by inscribing magical spells to rain doom upon them.
Care and attention is paid to keep the mod as config-friendly as possible, allowing you to tailor your experience as you desire be it for personal enjoyment or for a challenging multiplayer run! This includes minor tweaks like the special creature types of different mobs and players, to the removal of certain magic spells, to the spawning details of different oddities.
Keep apace with development by watching along with the playlist of regular video updates on YouTube

Any chance we'll see a version of this mod for 1.15 and above? If not, that's totally okay-- I get that refactoring a mod this large would be quite difficult-- but it's still something I'm holding out hope for.
In reply to anIceyBoy:
Yes! I intend to start working on a more recent version upon completion of the current release version.
Awesome! Looking forward to it, then.
Still having sound issues with most mobs not playing any sounds so they feel lifeless.
In reply to Dazu27:
No-one else has reported this issue with the version you are using, nor can I find anything in the code to cause it, so the only conclusion I can draw is that it's something to do with the modpack you're using.
What's the purpose of a Lim obelisk? And is there any reliable documentation for the mod? A lot of the content doesn't seem to have a purpose or isn't made clear what the purpose is.
In reply to brotherpk6:
Lim obelisks are waypoints of transportation for the Lim, of which the most commonly seen is the Trader. They will trade coins for magic items, before returning to the nearest obelisk to continue their endless journey.
There is a large chunk of documentation on the wiki, and more in the update videos. The scale and breadth of this mod makes it difficult to develop and document single-handed however.
Hello, ummm i have a problem. when i put the mod in my modpack y shwos like this when i create a new world. when i paused, then it look like this i can move, but i cant see
(edit) ignore the "Clases de Matematicas"
In reply to animatops01:
Nothing in this mod can cause what you're seeing.
In reply to Lyinginbedmon:
No prob, it was a fusion between a massive visual mod and this, making a big crash, i resolved it so no worries
can i get a version with only the Uberwidren and the giant crab if not can you tell me how to remove the rest of the mobs from the mod
In reply to Forge_User_32846138:
The config allows you to control the spawning and behaviour of each mob individually, including disabling them.
In reply to Lyinginbedmon:
thanks alot
Crash with witherboss and when around any of the mobs it says "An unknown problem has occured" top right of my screen. I was looking around your issues and googling your mod and Im assuming its the mobs trying to play their sounds. I found no solution and I'm at my wits end for this is the mod to make my modpack SOLID!
In reply to Dazu27:
Please open a new issue with the related crash log

Seaguls are.. broken, they have weird squares around the wings and irokez (black with shaders like SEUS, and they are also glowing). They have also random loot like coins, flame jars (fancy torches in iron bars) and also venom poison.. or something like that.
In reply to LUEZIS:
Please open a new issue with video or screenshots of the problem.
In reply to Lyinginbedmon:
They are just.. weird, and also have random loot sometimes, nothing so special. Black squares around the feathers might be in-theory transparent wing texture backrooms.
