SplashAnimation is a simple utility mod which allows an animation to be played at the very start of the game, which gracefully fades into the loading screen.
Features:
- Adds an animation to the start of the loading process!
- Doesn't slow down loading (and, by entertaining the end user, makes it seem to pass a bit faster)
- A selection of configuration options to customize it for your modpack.
Usage:
- Following the tutorial is recommended!
- Put your animation frames in animation/000.png, animation/001.png, ... up to the amount of frames you want to have.
- Edit config/splashanimation.cfg to set more detailed configuration pertaining to the animation behaviour.
- Enjoy!

There are many modpacks from FTB and others which modify or hide the Mojang logo from the loading screen, and not a single modpack was taken down by Mojang.
In reply to Forge_User_24610001:
Not taken down doesnt mean this wont have consequences in the future..
For a similar example, if you've been driving too fast in Europe, you may have been flashed by a radar. Just a picture taken from the gov.
Some weeks later, sometimes months later! (yes bureaucraty) you will get a fine.
Is there a way to get an animation to loop?
In reply to x_paz:
This would not be seen kindly by Mojang, so no.
In reply to asiekierka:
How so? I just want a loading animation..

You're not supposed to run it like a normal executable. It's a command line tool.
I.e. you run it in command prompt. Just like the tutorial says:
except add
Can you add support for Custom Loading Screen?
When this mod is placed along with yours, yours doesn't even load.
If you load them both yours doesn't even create a config file, I am guessing they clash in some way.
Thanks!

No, sorry.
could you put sound feature? that would be cool
Does this awesome mod brings some lags please ? I love your mod idea asiekierka.
So any news on why it's acting all funny?
Hey, this mod is really awesome, and it allowed me to put this intro to my modpack:
The reason why most people probably aren't using your mod to it's fullest effectiveness is because you can't use a slash in either a PNG. or GIF. files. I tried both, nope, it can't be done and according to your tutorial, a slash is required in order to create your desired file.
