Description
Welcome to RaolCraft Omega, an elemental mod about exploring dimensions, fighting evil bosses and becoming powerful wizards!
Do you think there should be more adventures to do after beating the Enderdragon? More dungeons to explore, more monsters to fight and more loot to get?
Well, then this mod is for you!
A long time ago, the world was all dark. But a day, something or someone made it colorful and the darkness was deleted.
But, after a few time, the Dark Emperor decided to make the world dark again. So started a war between the darkness and the other most powerful element, the light. Nobody won that war, and as result the world was split in 8 dimensions.
The legend says that the gems of the Overworld are connected to these dimensions by an unknown magical force, and that the one who explores the 8 dimensions and defeats the darkness will reach a new level of power and celebrated like a hero.
Will you be that hero?
This mod has support for Connected Textures. It also supports Ore Dictionary (not every material does right now though).
If you also download Hodge-Podge III, you will get some bonus features (that can only be obtained by completing some quests in both mods)!
Here is a list of the dimensions (the images are a bit outdated):
The Water Depths
The Magma Forest
The Spectral Crystals Ruins
The Soil Soul
The Eternal Cold
Flora
The Celestial Ruins
The Original World
More images can be found in the Images tab
Each of these dimension has its lore, progression, materials and bosses. By exploring a dimension you would tipically get rewarded with new wands, totems, artifacts, building blocks and materials, while there aren't many new weapon sets in the mod (there only are 2 sets of tools/weapons and one of armor that are stronger than diamond, and you get these very late in the mod). Raolcraft encourages players to combat strategically by using the active wands and the passive totems at their disposal, rather than just grinding for an overpowered armor.
This mod was made using MCreator, a free tool for creating mods without programming knowdledge. You can find it here: mcreator.net.
The fact it was made using MCreator doesn't mean the mod is bad or bugged, crashes with other mods or more recent Forge versions. While I must admit that many mods made using MCreator are kinda bad, there also are many well done mods, where the authors put a lot of effort into. MCreator itself improved a lot recently, and it no longer is just "pressing buttons".
