Description
Pick Up Notifier is very simple: Whenever you collect an item from the ground it will be shown in a neat little list in the bottom right corner of your screen, moving away after just a few seconds. Great when collecting resources, adventuring or fighting mobs to get a glance at everything you have collected!
▶️ The neat list includes all items, experience and arrows you have just gathered.
▶️ Outdated entries slowly move out of the screen and are revived when you collect more of an already present item.
▶️ Works with auto-pickup features of most backpack mods: Enabled the backpack_compatibility
setting in the server config (requires a server-side installation).
▶️ Optional installation on servers: Partial item stack pick ups (your inventory does not have enough room to pick up a full item entity from the ground) will now be shown.
▶️ Appearance is fully customizable: screen corner, exact position, scale, text style, ...
▶️ Also customize the list behavior: how long items stay, how many can be shown, should similar items be merged, ...
▶️ Supports blacklisting/whitelisting items via extensive .json
config files, find out more on GitHub!
⏩ INSTALLATION REQUIRED ON CLIENT & OPTIONAL ON SERVER
⏩ REQUIRES PUZZLES LIB TO BE INSTALLED (FORGE & FABRIC)
⏩ REQUIRES FABRIC API TO BE INSTALLED (FABRIC)
⏩ REQUIRES FORGE CONFIG API PORT TO BE INSTALLED (FABRIC)
Configuration is easily possible directly from in-game using the mod menu (requires Mod Menu by Prospector to be installed on Fabric) by installing either Configured or Configured (Fabric) by MrCrayfish.
When it comes to manual configuration all files are found at .minecraft/config
, named as MOD_ID-client.toml
, MOD_ID-common.toml
, or MOD_ID-server.toml
depending on the type of config. Not all types might exist for this mod if any.
Note that on older mod versions server configuration files are found at .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/serverconfigs
, effecticely meaning they must be configured separately for each individual world.
🌟 Thanks to TeamCoFH for the original idea of this mod in a very old version of their CoFH Core mod (1.6 era of modded Minecraft)!
